Yes, by all means spend time with her - go slow, keep it casual and see what develops. (Pursue romance/sex when and if you truly feel that way....) It may stay platonic, it may not.... But at the very least, you just might end up with a good friend.

First question, how old are you? I promise you looks fade on everyone with time. A good personality lasts forever. There are many men who would love to wake up next to a gorgeous woman who has the personality of a rock, but I promise you, that wears off very fast.
I have dated women who could be models but they could not hold an intelligent conversation. I have also dated women who people would consider not that attractive, but we could talk about anything all night long. I asked your age because as you get older you will start to realize that a woman you can talk to, have fun with, and has a great personality, will start to look very attractive to you.

If the sight of her turns your stomach, then no. But if you two really get along well, she can become more attractive to you. The ugliest person can look so attractive if they have a great personality, and the most beautiful woman can seem ugly if the personality sucks. Go for it. Looks are important, but they're not everything.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and if she's not all that on the outside but is beautiful on the inside, what's the problem??
Beauty is temporary, remember that....A person with a great personality is far more beautiful than some of these drop dead gorgeous people who are stuck on themselves, don't you think??
With all that said, I think it is worth exploring! Go for it, treat her like the beautiful person she is on the inside and don't worry about what all the so called "beautiful" people in your life are going to say...be a man and not a superficial idiot....God knows there are enough of them in the world, we don't need another one....

Everyone will tell you to try anyway because personality is what matters.
But here's what I say:
If she is a person that you like being around and someone you want to pursue a relationship with, then go for it. Who knows, after you give it some time, you may find something attractive about her you never noticed before.

Just because she's not attractive doesn't mean she's not awesome. It is, of course, worth exploring. You might see that you care for this girl deeply and want to be with her forever. But the worst that can happen is it doesn't work out.

It shouldn't matter what she looks like. If she makes you happy and makes you feel good about yourself and you like her then yes keep going. But if your going to have a problem with how she looks then don't waste her time. She should deserve better than that. I would really think about your feelings for this girl and what she means to you before you decide.

chya why not?? She can change her looks/style....
It really comes down to what's more important... looks? (which will fade over time anyway) or a warm personality that will last?
