We have been going out for a few weeks now, and we really like eachother, but ever since then, my best friend and I haven't been speaking. I try so hard to get her to talk to me, but she just brushes me off. And when we got together one time, it was incredibly awkward. She is very close with her brother, and knows how much time we spend together. She says she's okay with me being her brother's girlfriend, but I know something's bothering her. What should I do? I'm crazy about this guy, but I miss the way things used to be between my friend and I.

why is it that when some people, be it MEN, or WOMEN, get married, they still want to sleep around. Either on the down low, or with others of the opposite sex. I do not think that is in any weddings vows, or is it? I like some serious responses, please.

My parent's 25 year anniversary is coming up and I want to do something nice for them or get them something that they can both enjoy...something that will make them remember why they are married and will create new great memories along with the old ones!!!

I'm on a very low budget, so I think we all know what that means haha...

Thanks for the help!

I'm not talking about a long term disability. I'm talking about when one or both of you are temporarily feeling ill (like with a bad cold or flu), do you choose to abstain until you're both feeling better?

You need to know that even all the attemts you have made to keep your husband away from the other woman have not workded they are still seeing each other on a daily basis. and they are laughing behind your back. your 18 year old marrige is coming to an end and you need to know. I see them around town at lunch hugging and kissing. He does not care about you I have seen them at Victoria Gardens together, He parading around Rancho Cucamonga with her all the time. i was begining to suspect that my husband was beginging to have feeling for his coworker who liked my husband as more than a friend. I had been warning him and arguing with him for the past week telling him that one thing will lead to another if he does't keep it professional between them and if he had already begun to like her. he kept telling me he had it under control and didn't like her so for me to stop asking him well turns out that i was to late as we were finishing up another arguement about her i asked him if he had her cell number he reached over and grabbed his phone saying yes i do have her number and as he was going to show me he had a message from her saying "hey" at 1130 at night he confessed and said he had been talking (texting) to her during work hours and that he had only gone to her because he wanted advice and to talk to someone. he says he doesn't feel anything for her and though nothing had happend yet (because he got caught just a wk after the lying) had i not?

Im the type of person who always second guesses myself on whether i like people. it drives me nuts.i think what scares me is that ill have to be with him forever and im thinking way ahead to marriage and stuff. i know its crazy, im young i should enjoy myself but its hard cause i think to much about it. i think i am thinking too hard on this but just tell me what you think. i can never get him off of my mind, he makes me feel good about myself, when im with him the world feels quiet and calm and i dont think about anything else but him, i respect him for who he is, and im not embarassed by him at all. Does this sound like love to you?

My mom is alwys bossing me around! She alwys thinks that her way is the best.Wht ever she does is correct and wht I do is wrong! When she comes home there is no hi/hello to me but a heated rgument w/ me! She alwys finds something bad abt me and magnifies it like its the worst thing in the world. I mean I once got a b+ 4 the 4th quarter(my final grade-A) but she started acting like this one b+ was gonna hurt my life! Then when ever I'm trying to say sumthing that her fault, she starts saying "SHUT UP" so i don't have to magnify her faults. She freakin' controls my life! I mean I have to do sum summer course cause its her choice, i have to take sumthing other than choir cause its her choice, i took the SAT in 8th grade right after comin from an exhaustin thing and i got bad scores but she blames me cause she thinks i didnt study! She wants me to change my career(doctor) cause she thinks i'm not capable of it. She says that since I don't do SAT bks I'll be a guy fit 4 n0thin w/out a job

I was wondering if my boyfriend was using me... I feel like sex is all i'm good for. He treats me like im wonderful. But i treat him poorly. I dont understand why he'd want me. I'm feel like... theres no reason he should like me. is sex all i'm good for? He said its okay if we didn't have sex or anything anymore. but I still feel like hes using me. I dont know why. he seems sad about us not having sex. I dont want him to be sad.

My fiance's ex girlfriend (mother of his 2yr old son) needs a place to stay. She lived with her parents and they had a falling out, now she has nowhere to go. Our work schedules make it impossible for us to take the boy from her. My fiance suggested that she could stay here for a month or two til she got back on her feet. Should I even be considering this?

Alot of times when something really terrible happens to someone they dwel on it and try to get sympathy even years later. That is understandable. I have a past too and I know that feeling. (My biological father is a registered sex offender.) To all the people who have past like mine or somewhat like mine I would like to give you a little advise. Don't dwel on your past and mope around and whine about it. Use it. Things like this are what shape your personality. Don't use it as an excuse to make bad grades or be a bum. Use it as and excuse to show other people that you are better. What dosn't kill you will make you stronger. I know that if things didn't happen in my past then i wouldn't be who i am today. And that is something to be thankful for.

My spouse-to-be and I are from different states. We are both consenting, old enough, etc. He is a NY resident and I'm a SC resident. We apply for the marriage license together, right? If we were to get married in NY, as long as we both had birth certificates and ID, wouldn't all we would have to do be to appear in front of a clerk of court and sign everything/pay a fee?

What all is involved in our case? How do we get married?!

So I know my husband has every right to be mad and I am trying to give him his space and tryin to do everything I can to show him I love him and I want to be with him... but he is doing things that aren't called for... for example... I was on the couch curled up with a blanket because he didnt want to talk to me at the moment... so i was giving him his space... he comes up to me takes the blanket off of me and throws it on the other couch... I dont say anything but get the blanket and curl back up on the couch... he again grabs the blanket and takes it from me but I grabed it in time... he tells me he hates me all the time... even before I told him I cheated... and he wants to know details about what happend... but I think it is pointless information and all it is goin to do is make him more mad.... I want to stay around and show him that I am willing to do anything to work this out... but I also feel like hes goin a lil over the top with this... what should I do???

The only reason I found out about this is because I knew he was acting "differently" and searched the history on his computer. I found some evidence, and confronted him with my suspicion (which he initially denied of course.) He finally fessed up, was teary and regretful, swore he had deleted his email account, and said it was all just a "fantasy" and that he couldn't believe he almost sacrificed everything we have together. We have 4 kids and have been married 11 years. He said the contact began when she sent him an email out of the blue. They had communication for a couple of months and were planning to meet at a hotel, but says they never did. I don't know what to believe now and it is eating me up inside. I am so angry with him. I am unsure how to resolve my anger and mistrust. He swears that "nothing happened." Any advice/ opinions/ comments on how to move on, or what to believe, are appreciated. What bothers me is that had I not found out myself I would never have known a thing.
