Don't date him. I dated an older guy when I was 13 (my first boyfriend). I also gave him my virginity. I'm not saying you would do the same thing, but it is easier to turn down a guy when he is your own age. He would go out all the time with his older friends and ignore me unless he wanted sex. We really didn't have anything in common. And he broke my heart when he left me because I wasn't allowed to go places with him because I wasn't old enough.
Then I met my husband when I was 15 and he was 19. We got married when I was 17 (I graduated from high school at 16). It really sucked when he would go out to a club with his friends and I had to stay home for the first four years we were married because I was too young.
Find a guy your own age. Wait until you are in your 20's to date a guy four years older.

wo stop u shouldn't do that im 13 too 1 time i dated this guy when he was 18 but he treated me like crap and all he wanted was (well u no) and now that i realized that i figuered out that i should only date guys that are up 2 2 years older no more than that and wat that does is get them at ur maturity levelso that u no he likes u for who u are and not just because ur smart and can do stuff for him.and when there ur age level they don't expect so much from u and they can get to no u better.

Your brother's friend should know better! It's not only illegal but sad. Ask your older brother how he feels about this and maybe he can put some of his insights regarding this matter. You must be some kind of a 'hottie' for a guy that age to like you! Stay friends better.

Yes, you are too young. He is not looking for anything serious. Some high school boys can't fool girls their own age, so they move down the ladder to middle school girls because they (middle school girls) are just truly beginning to understand these "new" feelings. Therefore, young girls a easier prey, because they are not as experienced as high school girls or older women in reading men. Be warned majority of boys will say anything including the words, "I love you." just to get between your legs. Be logical, and think with your head not your heart, besides your main focus for now should be school. Romance will come in due time, so don't rush it.

Yeah thats a little too big of a difference. Even if he wasn't that old,13 is just too young to date. There is no reason to be dating somebody at that age.

Run, run, run away. A boy that age has one thing on his mind, and it's nothing a 13-year-old girl should be doing. The youngest a 17-year-old boy ought to be dating is a 16-year-old girl.

This is nothing short of a recipe for disaster. When he turns 18, he will subject himself to statutory rape charges which will, if convicted, follow him for the rest of his life (as a sexual preditor). Look, you are too young to date someone that much older. Keep to your own age and perhaps 1 year older at most. Nothing, and I mean nothing, good will come of this if you ignore my advice and, no doubt, the advice of almost everyone else.

Yes it is wrong. You're too young for him. If he gets you pregnant he goes straight to jail and will be on the sex offenders list for 25 years. Be friends and that's all.

sweetie i hate to tell you this but no matter how much you like him or he likes you if you really like him you would leave him alone. he is older than you so while you two might think that it is ok if some one (say your parents) did not think so then he would be the one in trouble and you would feel bad. just be friends for now and if you still like each other 5 years from now go for it

Sorry honey, the 17 year old should know better. You are to young, he is too old. You will grow up and so regret this. Please find someone else to like. Your brothers friend could end up in jail, if you like him, keep him only as a friend.
