I am 19 and a sophmore in college. I have super strict parents and though I love them to pieces, I can't deal with this much of it anymore. (examples include early curfew when Im home, constant lectures about the proper order of doing things aka marriage before intimacy of any kind including just staying over at his place, not being allowed to visit him over the summer as he lives 2.5 hours away even if I stay in a guest room at his mom's house etc). They pay my room and board at school, so I either need a way to be declared as an independent in order to get more financial aid or a way to convince them to let me make my own choices. If anyone has suggestions I would love your advice.

We walked into church together and before I knew it he was about 8 feet in front of me and I was following him into the church. I do not think a man should walk in front of a female, maybe with her, but not in front of her. I am so serious about this when we get out of the car, I walk off without him because I feel like he will walk in front of me and I think that is disrespectful and rude. Is it me? Do I have a hang up that is ridiculous? Should he slow down and walk along side me?
My father never walked in front of my mother and I have never had a man walk in front of me.

my friend came over my house 2 days ago.... my stupid brother got her drunk so he could take advantage of her...... now 2 days later shes still feeling really sick and cant eat or go to teh bathroom. she takes birth control and how knows what other medications for personal medical reasons.... could she have gotten alachol posioning?? what can I do! her parenets dont know what happpened at my house. they think she has the flu or something. please help me! if seh dies its going to be all my fault.

children are getting younger and younger these days having sex. so what age is appropriate to begin that talk? how young do you go? what about graphic content/how much detail should you go into? this is not a talk you should only have once with your children so how many times should you discuss this? i have had a talk with my two oldest, but i want to see how much info they took in and can remember. my to children are at different maturity levels mentally so should i talk to them at seperate times again or should i jus t kill two birds with one stone and talk it out to the both of them at the same time? i really think i should do it seperately

Okay....I almost have my Bachelor degree, but I really want to go to medical school to become a doctor.
However....I am not in a huge rush to start....I graduated high school young, so I think I will take a year off between degrees.
Anyway, my husband is in the military, and we are really thinking about having our first baby. I have been wanting one forever, but I am so young and I am finshing my degree, so we put it off for a while. Anyways, we really want to have our first baby while he is in the military because we are settled in our cute apartment, and love where we live, and having a baby while in the military mean hardly no hospital bill.
So, I guess my question is..........do think I am being sensible or stupid.
I know that I will have a child during medical school, and I know that it is going to hard and I will be busy, but I still get summers off, and otherwise I would have a full time job anyway, right?
So, is this possible....any advice?

WTF does it mean if someone does random stuff around [ I think shes trying to get my attention but I dont know].
For example...
A normal girl [at least i think] after you enter the bathroom and come out would be lon g gone by now. However this girl... i go in the bathroom she comes out... i expect her to be gone.. then... [since were at soccer camp no1 else is in the school] shes hideing behind something [didnt get the chance to see it.] and making odd sounds.... like a cat purring , then a puppy barking like sound then she starts making sounds like someone is walking down the hall...
Weird... but i am CERTAIN she is DEFINANTLY not the ONLY girl out there who does that to people to get there attention???

a friend of mine that knows that I've liked him in the past and i kno that he's liked me in the past......oddly in the movies sends shows me his fone with it writen "i like you" i like him too and so a lil while after i tell him but when i was about to tell my bf (girl) his bff that he says no I'm like okay.....but when i saw him in the begining when i walked into the movies he showed me his fone and it said "you look nice but don't tell jess i told u that" i didn't but i did tell her that i he told me that he liked me... we start goofing off during the movie and flirt and playin wit each other's hand......anyways 2 days later hasn't talked to me hasn't sent me text, called me not even and IM.....whats his deal why did he tell me? what was his purpose? did he really feel that way about me?

My Ex and I been together for ten years and have 2 children one is mine biologically. We've only talked on instant messanger for a few weeks and he already says he loves me. He is from another country, but has lived in the U.S. before. He says he doesn't have any friends and that is just the way it has always been. He says that he doesn't want to hang out with any of the guys from around his area because "they are all show-offs". He offers to do outrageous things for me such as send me a videotaping of a show that I used to be able to watch but now can't. Does this sound crazy, or like love obsession? Ok here is the thing. Everyone in my family has since the first moment they found out I was pregnant (even on my husbands side) has been asking me about the baby shower. Questions like who is supposed to be giving me one and that sort of thing. Thing is no one wanted to give me one, I haven't asked anyone to give me one because that would just be bad taste. Then my mother told me that her side of the family was waiting to see if my father's side of the family was gonna give me one and my father's side of the family was doing the same thing. My mother-in-law who is a witch and doesn't really like me at all. Has finally decided that she was gonna do it but she told me the only thing she was gonna do was send out the invitations. She thought that was enough, but she didn't even bother asking other people like my mother and and others in my immediate family to help. She told me if I wanted food or drinks there that I would have to take care of it.

So I go over to this house and meet this chick karli through my friend and coworker antonio and while they became a couple I was supposed to keep karlis newly single friend melissa company. So we were all chillin right started drinking and I pretty much stop paying attention to melissa because she was boring. Me and karli talk a bit while she's with antonio who's stoned out of his mind. We get along great. Now here's the problem. Later that night she tells me things like I understand her so well I'm awesome etc. Then she says to me that I may think she doesn't understand me but that she does. I say prove it. neither i nor my ex had planned on having children, but here we are nevertheless. he blames me for the pregnancy just as i blame him. however, he believes that i should tolerate his abuse because he does not want to be a father or pay child support. he is so monstrous and deceptive now that i can not be around him. i understand that he is angry, but i do not deserve this. i did not get pregnant intentionally -- this was not due to one of those psycho i-want-to-hold-onto-my-boyfriend tactics -- nor do i believe that he impregnated me intentionally. it was sheer naivete on our parts. he left me after my father passed. he deceived me into believing that he wanted a family, then unexpectedly moved after my father died and is not remorseful. i am devastated! do men sincerely feel that they are entitled to treat women horridly after they have inadvertently impregnated them? women can play dirty, too, but someone needs the level head. for now, i am level.

I have umpired baseball for a softball team for a number of games now. I joke around and talk with some of the players on the team. One player, who was exceptionally friendly and talkitive to me, had her friend ask me for my number after the game. I gave it to the friend. Now i think that may have been a bad idea. She is going to be a freshman, a well developed one at that, in high school and i am going to be a junior. What should i do if she calls or wants to hang out or something? Should i be friends with her? I dont want to be mean, she is nice. I just think she may be too young. Thanks!

I mean seriously...

I hear all the time that if you have feelings for a girl u should just let her know so u dont live with the regret of never telling her

yes u may get shot down/rejected/whatever and may even ruin a great friendship

so people say dont tell her u like her but show her with ur actions/by what u do, that u like her

is this true? what is the right and wrong things to do in this situation?

I think i may have given off a big hint to a girl that i like her and i havent gotten a response back from her yet (not good i know) but as long as she knows its good right? or no?

ps - in the past ive liked a girl and never told her and she got a bf and then i was like damn i liked u, and shes like oh u never told me

My husband has had an emotional relationship with someone. He say's that it never got physical, but they talked and e-mail each other alot and talked about a future together. I have been sick and drugged, but I am better now. I confronted them and they have agreed to stop. He is there for me and my children, but I am very insecure. I'm trying to just move on, but not sure he is telling me everything. I feel I need to know to protect myself or just to be able to make an informed decision. Do I really need to know particulars? Ok well me and my friend are competitive. We're such good friends, but like to compete against each other in pretty much anything. We found this one bet / idea and we want to try it tomorrow.

We want to see who can stay handcuffed the longest. Even though school is out, we'd meet at our school at 7:00 AM (a neutral spot). We'd also come in our school uniforms, so everything is even. We would each get a handcuff key. Then we would choose what side of each other to be on, or choose at random. We would then handcuff our hands together, and double lock it to prevent tightening. Then we'd go back to her house ASAP. There we'd probably just watch movies and hang out. We'd each get 4 bathroom breaks a day, and a 30 minute shower period each day. Also, we would change into a new pair of our school uniform each day. We'd alternate each other houses at which we sleepover, until the bet is over. Should I do it? Is it safe? This is for more than just $50, it's for bragging rights.
