i'm a 29 yr old woman. i got pregnant when i was 19 and was in for a break-up with my boyfriend. i never told him that i was pregnant at the time. i've been a single mother since. i completed my education and am very stable financially and can afford the best for my son. but recently i met my ex again totally by coincidence. he is one of the clients of our company and i'm to handle the deal. we were quite cordial. it would be a long story if i were to write about it but he met my son...again a big coincidence... he just asked me one question,"he's mine isn't it?" i didn't know what to say... i can never forget the look in his eyes when he said that. he just walked away after this...that way yesterday and i am set for a meeting with him tomorrow morning...what do i do? i really don't know how to face him and how i am to answer his questions. what do i do? please help me......i'm in a mess....

My mothers is from costa rica is mixed with Spanish from Spain,German or possibly Portugese,and Arb from Saudi Arabia.My fathers side is from NYC is mixed with Spanish from Barcelona (Catalonian people)Spain and French.I have no african blood in me and no indian blood in me that i know of or close to nill since all costa rica's natives went up to the mountains so spanish could not enslave them prefering never to come back down again.So that makes me a light olive skin complection?My passport says i am white.Hispanic is also not a race in my opinion but an ethnic backround and i do Not speak the launguage or know much about the culture.My Irish hubby thinks that because my mom is from costa rican our kids should be labeled hispanic or half hispanic for school purposes to gain benifits? I find it insulting because i consider myself a mixed american not hispanic?Am i wrong do i just go with it?

My friend (i have a lot of friends and i ask things for them) is going to a wedding and her son will be sleeping in the house that the reception is at. her son is 12. the host of the reception offered to put him to bed. his son won't care who put him to bed. should my friend put him to bed or the host? what would you do?

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost three years now and I am really ready to get married. He knows this and tells me that he is not ready yet but we will ONE day. He also said that he is afraid that I will get tired of waiting and leave him if he doesn't ask soon enough. I do not want to give him an ultimatum on this because I only want to marry someone who truly wants to marry me. So how do I wait??? I know that sounds stupid but it hurts to know that he isn't ready yet and I've been ready for two years. I love him more than I can put into words but I think without marriage I may never truly be completely happy. But if I marry anyone else I also don't think I will every truly be happy either. I need some HELPFUL advice.

I've been married for 18 months now and though I love my husband it has been very difficult. I have feelings for my best friend who is a male and feel that I should tell him. I don't think I actually want anything to happen between us, I would never cheat on my husband, I just want him to know how I feel as I think he feels the same way and just want that understanding between us. I think we both know that each other feels the same way but obviously we wouldn't act on it, but sometimes it feels awkward because its like we both think about it at the same time. Should I tell him how I feel, should I tell my husband? We are always honest. I think if I was to tell my best friend I would also tell my husband.

i like one guy from the uni, he's one year older than me, and he's on another faculty. as far as i understood he's a very shy one. we don't know each other. i've noticed him only because i thought he noticed me. he usually tried to be around me, and watches me. especially when we were at the canteen, he sat with his mates silent and watched me. He sometimes feels uncomfortable when he looks at me, coz it's hard for him to look subtle coz of his height. we have one coomon friend, but he only says hi to him, nothing more. and i'm not THAT close with that other guy to ask him to introduce us.

So, how do I make sure this guy I am gonna marry is agreeable to my condition?

Indian people act like your a freak for not having a baby as soon as a man is secured, but glare longingly when they hear about your recent trip to Rome or amazing new sex, or night out with the girls--or the promotion, or new degree, or new painting you just finished, or the family member you flew to see- or when they see the smile on your face each day while they seethe over the husband who constantly cheats and how their teenager is stealing from their purse to buy their boyfriend clothes, or why didn't they go to college--considering the over population of the planet, the fact that 75% of people walking around are unplanned and /or unwanted, the fact that 50% of marriages end in divorce and 44% of men cheat---is breeding really all there is to a real life experience? sometimes you have to love your child enough not to have them----------------

I am dating this guy (well only twice in about a month) he doesn't call me but when I call him he will stay on the phone with me for at least a half hour to an hour. When we do get together we have so much fun together. i just feel like since he doesn't call me that maybe he is not thinking about me......

The wedding is in almost 4 weeks, and I know that I (groom) and the rest of my guys need to go for our tuxes at the 2-3 week prior mark.

My fiance wants her nephews to be the ring bearers, and my mom-in-law wants them to be in tuxes too. I went to get quotes from Al's Formal Wear, and it came out to be around $160 for the grown ups, and about $60 for the ring bearers because we are getting a discount on them.

And yes, money is an issue. My father-in-law would be paying for his, his son's (my groomsman), and for the ringbears. so about $450 on his part.

Now, being that we are having a traditional wedding, would it be okay if we went with some really nice suits? I know it's my wedding and I get to decide what we wear, but I dont want it to look tacky.

I also dont like the idea of spending sooo much on rentals, and not getting to keep any of the tuxes!!

Has anyone gone with suits for their wedding attire and where did you get them??

I mean seriously, I'm the kind of guy that gets girls heads turning but I never seem to find the right kind of girl to have a decent relationship. I know I am intelligent, kind, talented, attractive, funny, wealthy and everything the right girl looks for in a guy. But, for some reason, I just end up having a lot of beautiful female friends, but none I am able to go that extra inch to be more than just friends. I've been told it's because I am nice. Why is that a problem? After all, I'm the one they go to when their boyfriends treat them horribly. I take them out to dinner and a movie and I make them feel better. I tell them beautiful things about themselves. Is that why I don't get anywhere? Should I stop doing that? And I've also been told I should at least act like I'm a jerk so the ladies would think I'm attractive? What is the whole deal behind that? I don't want to do that because that would mean I'm just being fake. I hope someone can give me a good explanation.

I ended my relationship of 5 years 4 months ago. Since then he has not been bothered over the break up that much to ask me why or say he wants to get back. He has just gone out and drank and taken drugs and behaved like a child (he is 29) I left him as he was a bad drunk. The thing is that now I have moved on and been seen with a new man, he calls me crying saying he wants me back and he is devastated. he wasnt before, life was a big party without me until I started dating again. what is this about???
