We got engaged on January 13, 2006, and we're getting married on October 13, 2007, so our engagement will be 1 year and 9 months. I would have liked it to be shorter, but we were still in college and needed to save up some money before the wedding. Plus we really wanted a fall wedding!

He proposed on December 1, 2006 and we will be getting married on May 5, 2008, so a little over a year and a half.

I met my husband in August of 2001. He proposed to me September 7, 2001. Six months later on April 20, 2002 we got married. Don't get the wrong idea of my answer, I was not pregant. We just loved each other so much, and we were ready to settle down.

about a year. we had dated for about 6 years before (we were very young) got engaged, with no date set for a wedding then when he got a job out of state we quickly planned a wedding (in a month!) so that we could move in together.

On the day of our wedding we will have been engaged for two years. I thought it was really long but for financial reasons we wanted to wait, they I had alot of medical issues which made us wait even more but then in conversations over time I realized it really wasn't that long

Not as long as eternity, but longer than a lifetime . . . haha . . . but seriously, my engagement lasted 2.5 months. We got engaged around mid-february and married late april.

I was proposed to on May 28, 2007 and we are getting married on July 7, 2007. And no.. I'm not pregnant. We decided to have it so quick because of the date. Also, I'm glad I'm doing it so quick. I couldn't imagine doing all this planning over a year.

we have been together for 7 yrs, enagaged since jan. of this year and getting married in 2 months
my sister was dating for 6 months, engaged for 1 yr and has now been married 2.5 yrs

just got engaged getting married jan 08...
so about 7 months....
was going to be about 10months but the place we wanted to be married in only had availabilities when we booked jan 08 or around july 08 so we went for sooner than later...
