If God knows something that I truly want, will He let it happen to me, or am I just supposed to believe it wasn't part of God's plan for me if it doesn't happen? Like finding the career I want or getting married....

I played a practical joke on a mate at school - nothing too serious. I put a woopie cushion under his seat. Anyway he got back at me in a horrible way. We were changing in PE when he put the corner of my towl on the door. I thought I dropped my deodrant can outside so I opened the door (As I thought I still had the towl on). Then to my horror there was a roar of laughter from inside the classroom. Its like the dream when the whole school sees you naked. The whole town knows never mind the school! I hate it. It happened two weeks ago and people are still talking about it. My surname is McNulty and people are now calling me "Penis McNulty". how ridiculous is that! Even a teacher accidently said "Penis McNulty" when calling out the registrar in class and another refered to me as Penis. No-one will take me seriously! What will I do? It has gone too far.

I'm young so I know I have a long time before I think of persuing someone seriously, but I just wonder sometimes if there really is someone out there for everyone. I mean, what percentage of people actually don't find anyone and end up unmarried the rest of their lives.

It seems that people often feel that if a man stays with his wife and does not leave, then that means that he loves her, I don't think thats always true. what do you think?

Well I'm a 26 yr old guy, brought up by abusive parents who I no longer even feel close to. I'm a graudate and started working at 21, was really content with my life being independant and all, answerable to noone, but my parents didn't like that so screwed up my life.
I have a steady job but live in a different town now. I don't have a girlfriend because I just can't trust anyone, I have few friends and I speak too less.
I am planning to go back to the place where I started working, the place where I lived the best year of my life, the only difference is that I was very motivated back then, now I'm not so, plus I'm a bit older.
Your feedback will be really appreciated

I have a friend for fifteen years. We went to HS, ran track and went the same college for awhile. three years ago she got married and I was maid of honor. We had problems in the friendship before, but managed to stay in contact. I broke my back and bank trying to do the bridesmaids duties, beautiful wedding shower, bachelorette party, went to the planning meetings, helped make flower arrangements, etc. Then the night before the wedding at practice. I found out I wouldn't be in the maid of honor position her cousin would be, as the matron of honor. Everyone was surprised, bridesmaids and grooms family tried to talk her out of it, but she made up her mind. A few months later. She is pregnant and I am named godmother. I threw her baby shower, helped with 1st Bday. Today, was his 2nd Bday party bought B-cake, gift, made quilt and someone said the child's godparents were coming. Refering to someone else! I saw the look on her face and knew it was true. What to do?

Married almost 9 years, we're 34. We have a daughter 7 and a son who's 5. Together for 13 yrs. my husband is very emotionally and verbally abusive. Has choked me 3 times in the past. He calls me names, screams in my face( I can feel his spit), gives me the silent treatment, sleeps in the livingroom except when he wants sex or is not angry at me. He is like 2 different people. I have left 3 times and went back to him. He behaves this way in front of the kids. I get so lonely and scared when i leave( went over my mom's). I am looking for a job so I'll be independent. i am married with 2 kids my husband comes home alot in the morning and sometimes the next day at night when he comes home he says he was with friends i am just fed up i kinda have a feeling there is someone else but no proof i activated a detailed bill for his cell phone which is in his friends name i somehow figured out the code there are no female # on there from what i see and his longest conversations last 10 minutes i feel like i am super investigator and its driving me insane i asked him if he is cheating he says no but come on now why would he not come home at night right?

we're a normal middle class family thinking of buying a suit for my fiance from ralph lauren or polo or oscar delarenta for our wedding reception, but they're hinting they want something custom made- something with a minimum of 1,000$. we thought this was a little too much. is it too much? or are we just cheap? what kind of people usually buy custom-made stuff? i thought it was always the really rich elite people? can u suggest anything anyone???

Okay,the thing is.I dont really know what it means to be in love.I never dated anyone more than lets say,3 weeks.I am still young,but I want to be in a relationship so I can spend my time with someone and talk,and shre our interests,etc...
So,I meet this guy,online,on a chat.He's from my town too,so it can be very easy for us to date.But the thing is,he's a moron!!!He only think of himself,sex,stupidity,etc...But I still like him,alot,and he's very smart,only he plays to be really a jerk.(Oh,and he is really cute and handsome).So,I ask him if he wants to date me,and he says he's not into dating,blablabla...And rejectes me...A few days later,I meet his friend online.He's really nicer and a better guy than te first one.But(there's always a but),I know I'm gonna sound mean and stupid now,but he's just not like the first one...But he likes me and would probably want to be with me...So what do I do now?Please people help...It's begining to bother me alot...

Ok,I do KNOW this guy but I found his profile online. I have always thought he was cute. But i sent him a message today, he said Hey add me as a friend,then he asked me what I do for fun,and then he told me what he does for fun,next he asked me how old I am,and then he asked how tall i am. My husband is really pissed because I refuse to sign a document regarding our home (before a notary) without having a chance to read it first?
He wants to take a mortgage on the house (he says to buy some land in the country), but I think the document is because he needs my permission to do so ... I am not sure.
He said that the document was supposed to arrive by courier today, but it has not.
In any case I feel uneasy signing something legal that I haven't been given a chance to read ... especially since I don't know what the document says and what rights I may be giving away by signing it.
To add to this my husband has been really weird especially lately, talking about how I had promised to sign a pre-nup before we were married that if the marriage broke up I would walk away with little more than money to start me up in an apartment. But I don't remember ever saying this.
Would you sign it, and what would you say to him about it????
