Thats easy, love, friendship. companionship. Nobody in my view, should go through life alone. Just because you can't preform anymore doesn't mean that you still can't make someone happy. There are ways to please women sexually without intercourse and there are things that she can do for you as well. To make you feel good about yourself.

lots of people are married and have this in there marriage. many people have been married for many years and a tragic accident happens and the person is left without mobility or other functions, that doesn't mean their spouse should leave them. That would defy and contradict the meaning of marriage "through good times and bad" "the best and the worst" "til death due us part" not incompetance.
Love is the reason why people stay and make a lasting healthy relationship not, lust.

Just because he cant physically have "sex", it doesnt mean he cant do other things to make his partner feel good. Sex is not the only thing that holds a marriage together. However, it is a key part of relationships and the lack thereof can be damaging to the success of the relationship.
One question to ask is, did a professional tell him he canted have sex?
Another question is, whos moreso bothered by the fact that he "cant have sex"?
