If God knows something that I truly want, will He let it happen to me, or am I just supposed to believe it wasn't part of God's plan for me if it doesn't happen? Like finding the career I want or getting married....

Yes I truly believe it, even if we don't agree with it....
God doesn't make junk and he doesn't let bad things happen....if You make God the centre of your life and follow HIS ways, He will honour that, plus God knows the desires of your heart just like he knows mine....

If you believe in God then you need to beleive that it is up to God to decide whether what you want is what you truly NEED. God IS the ultimate judge.

god has a perfact plan for you thats his will..are you in his will...you must totally surrender to him ..be still and know he is god...ask him to forgive you..we are all sinners..then aks him to come in to your heart..and make him you shepard and he will lead the way.trust in him he will give you
