okay,. well today i was talking tom my aunt about some things and then she brought up the interracial thing. and i was like omg here we go. so she gave me about an hours worth of a lecture as to y i find men from diffrnt back more attractive than my own..
and thn..it hit me. she said that alot of black men and women have self hatred about themslves to not date within their race. and thats y they date black me & ppl from diff races. she said that she dsnt have a problm with interracial dating but she wants a dark black man anyway, she said that she thinks i have self hatred because i am more attracted towards asian guys and white guys than black.??
then he told me about the whole slavery thing and how black ppl were treadted etc.. iknow all of that already and how they or we were treated. i was so infuriated that she said im looking at other guys diff from my own race because theirs somthing i dnt like bout myself. thats a load of bullsh!t. i just so happen 2 find asians attrc.thanblk

i really dont care about fathers day, its just another boring sunday that i HAVE to spend with family...wel i msick and tired of it my family can shove it for all i care...i never had a good child hood all my parents did when they were together was fight and i hate my real father, he's a drunken ******* i hate him and i hate going to his house...he was never nice to me and never did the thing a father should do to be in his daughter's life and now he is screwed becuse im moving away and he'll never see me! ha i wont miss him! i mean i love my step-father he's like the father i NEVER had....but he treats me differently whenevr my REAL sister is here.... if i had it my way i'd move in with my friends so that i would never have to see my family again!

My boyfriend and I don't like going places where there are big crowds, but we just like spending time together. What could we do that is inexpensive and fun? We can't go to the park at night anymore because about a week ago a pregnant woman got shot in the stomach at a park near where I live so my mom doesn't want me to go late anymore. A friend of mine, who i like, is having a beach party with her friends from school to hang out all day since summer break is now here. This is a little background before you get to my question...My mother and my MIL had an arguement last year which was pretty bad. Since then, I've had a get together and they were pleasant but distant, being respectful of me and my husband.
(Next part of the background)At my wedding, my father paid for everything and my MIL kept adding more and more people to the list. He kept his mouth shut and paid, trying to make everyone happy.
(now the question) My sister in law is getting married soon and I saw the list of people that are invited and my SIL didn't invite my parents. I was a little shocked that they weren't invited but thought back to the arguement and realized that must be the reason why they're not invited to her wedding.
Is it rude that they didn't invite my parents to the wedding? Do you think I should ask why they weren't invited?

I have been in love for almost 4 yrs. Unfortunately, I have also been going thru divorce for 4 yrs .My boyfriend and I found each other when I 'left' my husband almost 4 yrs ago. Financially, I couldn't leave and he wouldn't. My husband wanted out as much as I, but we couldn't afford it. Then our oldest daughter became mentally ill for about 2 yrs, making it difficult for me to return to work after being home with the children our entire marriage. After she got better, she developed a terrible infection which led to a series of infections and long term disability. Throughout all of these problems, my bf has continued to stand by my side, 'in secret.' He is always there for me and for my children. He is thought to be a great 'family friend,' making it easy to spend time with him. My two oldest daughters have discovered our relationship and they understand that I have no desire to hurt their father. We would all be happier if we could live separately. My problem is, how do I tell him?

can i have an honest answer...................im single 29 year old female who is 6ft tall id say im good looking never had any trouble getting a fella in the past im a hard working gal that would do anything for anyone im a great cook im fun romantic and im good in bed LOL my husband walked out on me 10 months ago when he found out our little boy had autism anyway the question i have is are men put off taking on a women with a disabled child because im having no luck what so ever i dont get out very ofren to meet men so i have been going on dating sites 6 in total all the men i meet start of ok then when they find out im a full time carer with a disabled child they run a mile so would it put you off.....???

My husband and I have spoiled her all of her life. We bought and paid for her braces (orthodontics), we bought her $600 plus in clothing last fall for school. We paid her $50 for every A she made in school. We did all of this b/c we felt bad for her not having a father and a mother (she lives with grandparents who adopted her). We were looking to have a relationship with her but she has grown up to be a stuck up snot. I think it's a case of "having too much." She doesn't have ANY relationship with us at all - never calls, writes, communicates with us for anything - yet always has her hand stuck out if she wants something from us. Well... enough is enough. The most she is going to get from us from this day forward is a small modest birthday gift. We want to teach her that u just can't use ppl for their money and treat them like CRAP!!! :)

I have a guy friend that I am really close to. He is very protective of me. As a matter of fact, I had an internet stalker a few weeks ago and when I finally had the nerve to tell him about it, he totally freaked out. He was threatening to kill the guy and all that kind of stuff. He kept telling me to "block the idiot!!!" When he found out that the guy was still trying to contact me, he totally freaked out again. He is never satisfied with any guy that I like. He always finds something wrong with him. He finally went and found a GF a few weeks ago. The past few weeks he has been stressing the fact that I am his "little sister" (this hasn't been brought up in YEARS) When I finally got to meet his gf he introduced me as his little sister who has to approve of everything he does, everyone he sees, etc. He'll do anything to make me happy. One of my friends thinks that that the "little sister" is just a cover up. Does he think of me as a little sister or is it a cover up?

There's this boy and he used to really like me in 5th grade. He even asked one of his friends to ask me out for him. I said no, because at the time I didn't like him as more than a friend.
This year, however, we're in almost all the classes together. We talked a lot, and I guess I liked him a bit more than a friend this time. We flirted a bit, and even talk on AIM.

My friend just recently told me she liked him, and told him so. She said she wasn't sure if he heard her or not, but he walked away. He also walked away when she asked him if he hated her.
Now, his other friend told my friend since she told him she liked him that he already has a girlfriend. I was like Whoaaa. When my friend told me, since he never ever mentioned that he had a girlfriend.

Also, a few days ago when we all went out to lunch as a whole group at the end, he hugged my friend. I dunno if it was because she was like I'll miss you lots! Or because he likes her back.

So who do you think he likes and why?
