ok so theres this really sweet(and hot) guy i've had a crush on almost forever and my friends are begging me to ask him out. however his dating rep makes me a bit uncomfortable. im trying to figure out whether i should just accept it or worry that i'll get hurt if we go out. im not judging him or anything, i just dont want to end up getting all emotional because i really like him. what should i do????

Don't do it. It's not worth it just to have the biggest hunch that he'd cheat on you and get CRUSHED. I know that sometimes it's sad enough when you aren't dating the one you like, but if you went out with him and he was cheating on you, you'd feel even worse when you found out.

It's not wrong, just stupid. I always say the best way to predict the future is to look at the past. And you already know about his past. If you would be OK with him cheating, you should go ahead and ask him out.

You may as well go for it if you like him that much.
The thing to do is not get too invested in him for a while - that way, if his rep turns out to be completely true, you won't be so upset about it. It'll be hard to do if you really like him though.
Just be aware you might be walking a bit of a plank, but if you're young just go for it!

You don't need to ask him, just ask around and you will find out the answer. There will be mutual friends that will tell you whether he cheats, dumps the girls, or is kind with the break up. Don't get into any kind of relationship with him until you find this out. You sound like the kind of girl that just wants one boyfriend. He may want to sample lots of girls. Find out first.

people who have cheated will cheat again unless it happened when he was much younger and regrets it. OR guys will stop cheating if they have been cheated on and now know how it feels .... dont do it unless you just want to have casual sex and not a lasting relationship. He's not worth your time or heart.

You're contradicting yourself. If he's a player, how can he be a "sweet" guy? Players are not sweet. They may appear to be, but they're not. Stop looking at the outside and focus on the inside. If he's a player, his physical attributes aren't going to make up for it. And stop going by what your god damn friends think.

it's always nice to have a crush on someone...but you sound that your not sure if this guys for you by feeling uncomfortable with his past relationships. go with what your gut tells you and not your heart, you instinct my save you from future heartache

Unfortunately some guys, okay most guys, who are labeled as "hot" use it to treat women like footballs, that is, something to carry across the goal and score with then spike to the ground.
Go with him if you want, but be aware that guys who have chicks throw themselves at them almost never chose one of them. They want the one that was hard to get, the one they had to work for...

you will just end up as another statistic under his belt. if he did it to his partners, he'll sure as hell do it to you. your snatch is NOT made out of gold in order for him to be just committed to you. besides, think about all those STD's, if he has any from cheating on all those girls. you'll just end up notched on his bed post once he gets his hands on you. do yourself and your image a favor, pass him by. there are more fishes in the sea for you to claim as your own, unless you don't mind getting cheated on and looked upon as just another bootie call for him... his rep is his rep, that's how he lives and that's his game, there is NO changing that, especially in a man... wake up girl... warning signs all over that one...
