Family & Relationships - 16 June 2007

I am a twenty year old woman, and I am currently home for the summer from college, however this past week I have run into so much heart ache I cannot bare it alone. As I said I live with my mother, however last week, my mother's husband and I got into a fist fight. It started with an argument between him and I and then my mother came in between us, he pushed her therefore I snapped and pushed him back. the fight escalated from there and he grabbed me and tried to throw me out of the house, I punched him in his face several times. but it was a loosing battle because I lost my mother in the process...she chose to side with him. I am hurt. This has been an on going issue since I was seven years old along with my sisters we have never gotten along. However I know that she has made her choice. How do you move on from this, how can I love her. How can I have a relationship with her, when I don't trust her anymore.

LOL.. before you get mad - this is not really about my personal situation... I just wondered how many of you are in relationships where your spouse has a friendship with someone of the opposite sex... I don't mean just casual - I mean a close relationship - lunch, going by their house, etc.. but not romantic with them... How do you feel?

if you have been friends with a girl and then you go out, is it aqward? because my bf and I have been friends for a while ( not like really close or anything ) and he doesnt seem to feel that comfortable around me anymore. Guess sometimes I feel really lonely. I have my kids and they are great but my marriage sucks. He never talk to me, does anything I want to do without complaining, always fights with me....sort of feels like he is only with me bc of the kids. I guess it is starting to hurt more and more. Not bc i feel shut out by him...but bc i just feel alone. I cant say anyting to him bc he will automatically start arguing with me, getting all defensive. I just hate certain parts of my life now. This is unfair. How can I have such 2 awesome kids by some idiot.

Married him pretty young and in a vulnerable time, where i was pregnant and scared and just needed someone who i thouth loved me, but in the end it just caused more problem for me that i would ever know. By the time I got pregnant with Lyric he really started hating on me, physically (sometimes), emotionally, and hating himself.

I know deep down he is no good for me. He uses me and makes me feel like he has sacrifcied so much for our lives but he has not done noting but mooch off of me abd my body. like i am some shell...with no feelings and no needs. Sometimes i get so upset that i cant even lay by him at night. I cry bc I feel so awful about everyday. I dont know what to do...we have 2 kids, very young kids....under 2 yrs old, and he is 10 yrs older than me...

My family doesn't support me in my marriage and his mom doesn't support him in marrying me. We've been together for almost 7 years and now they want to say something? Is there something that we don't know that they wont say. Either way we're getting married but why do you think they would have a problem now that we decide to be wed? My wife have been seperated for about six months and rarely hav contact, when we do it is usually unpleasant. Back in april we had a major falling out and spent a whole day e-mailing and texting how much we hated each other and insulting each other. After that we kept it stictly business, we only communicated through e-mail and only about bills. Well about 2 weeks ago, she e-mails to ask "how am I doing?", we e-mailed back and forth, she called, we talked then a few days later she downloaded yahoo IM, and we've been chatting almost every night. Its really weird to me that she chats instead of talking on the phone, even weirder that she wants to chat and that she is being nice. I've been told by buddies, she has probably screwed my over pretty good and i dont know about it yet, and thats why she is acting nice. Im kinda thinking that too, just 2 months ago she hated me more than anything.

ok. my ex and i broke up at the end of last school year. she is now dating one of my good friends. we are both in a group of really good friends. Things have been understandably awkward between us since i found out about her and my friend and we have barely talked since breaking up.
