Why is everyone saying no way just because he is Mexican? we have to be apart 5 months.

If faithfulness would be just a matter of nationality, that would of saved a lot of time to MILLIONS of women out there. ; )
If the reason they're saying he will be unfaithful is only because he's Mexican, then it sounds completely unfounded and biased.
If there's something else going on that we are not seeing, then listen to the advise of your friends, maybe they know something you don't.
By the way, Mexicans are more pro-family than Americans. That should say something in his favor.
Hope those 5 months go rapidly for you.

It doesn't have to do with his nationality - it's that you will be apart for 5 months.
There is nothing that shows Mexican men any more or less faithful - BTW, how will you know he didn't do someone on the side when he was away - how will he know you didn't cheat on him? If you don't have trust, you have nothing.

You've got a bunch of idiots for friends.
It doesn't depend on nationality, it depends on character. If a good man has committed himself to you, there is a very good chance he'll be true.
