I'm 16 and I'm going to be a junior and I have this HUGE crush on a guy in the grade above me. I'm sort of shy and I really want to get his attention in a non-slutty way, but I dont know how. I've tried going to his sports events and just saying hi in the halls, but is there anything else I can do?

Keli, hon, you've done all you can do. The ball is in his court; he's seen you, he knows you're there and if he still doesn't notice you, there's not much else you can do. BTW, I don't see anything wrong with being shy, in my opinion that is not much different than being modest, a desirable quality in young girls, these days. Boys find those kind of girls slightly mysterious which also makes them even more attractive and appealing. You are wise to let a guy notice you first.

TALK to him. At least once or twice every few days.
Random small talk. Ask him how his sports practice/game went. Ask him if he caught the last episode of Sopranos. Ask him what toppings he likes on pizza.
You'll get his attention if you ask his opinions on anything.

try to find out where he hangs out. go there. strike up a conversation. make it seem as if u ended up there by accident.
