i was wondering!
in a guys life they usually have more then one girlfriend but lets say this guy has never done anything with any of them! not even hug!
why is it that when they met the girl of their dreams they start to think of all the things they can do with her?
whats the difference between that girl and all the other girls they been out with?

In some guys, I guess there is a threshold a girl has to meet before you get certain emotional reactions. So if a girl meets condition a,b, and c, the guy will be more inclined to think of her in a truly romantic sense.

From my experiences dating girls, I have noticed this kind of difference in my behavior. I rationalized this behavior as sort of a way less "player" like guys operate. We naturally do not think of girls in a romantic sense, but in a friendship sense. Once a girl fulfills a certain set of requirements, we begin to think the other way. This is the only explanation I have found for this behavior.

Joel V. (16) says: Guys like that, from my point of view, start out kinda distanced from their surroundings, from the people around them. Then all of the sudden they meet someone they actually like and it's like a whole new door has been opened to them. I had that exact same experience myself during my soph year. In the end, it all boils down to whether you like him or not. If you do, good for you, you might have something. If not, don't let him get his hopes up high enough to shatter when you tell him no.

Mom says: The first girls were trophies, to walk with down the hall and look cool with. The last girl was a real attraction. She got his attention and everyone else faded away. Just make sure that the guy you're with treats you like a princess, not a trophy.

It's kind of hard to say. I guess us guys do hat because a gut instinct tells us that this is the girl for you. I've learned that there's certain things a girl does that makes a guy fall head over heels for her, and the majority of the time she may not even know it. For me, if you just call me out of the blue to talk and ask how my day was, I consider that to be a sign that you care about me and from there may spark up a long term relationship, ya never know!:-)

treat all girls the same..that is if they are half way decent.

you never know you have a keeper until you go a few rounds

with them..this is the first real indication that they are a keeper.

most guys don't think like women so they just do their thing first and if they like what they see and do..then they may get interested..girls don't usually think this way..some do..most girls intellectualize everything to death..guys are more proactive

I lifelong growth of the ideal woman. Then you find the one that fits the model and then we let out our secrets.

For me, I watched alot of Star Trek so I like Ohara type women. So naturally If I was walking down the street and bumped into an African American in a red short skirt with tall black boots with a microphone in her ear saying things, like, "Message coming in Captain."

I would swoop her off her feet and show her the tops of mountains and how the clouds dance at my command.

Well I would never have a girlfriend and not do anything with her, it would be pointless. So I say maybe that's the type of guy who really wants to wait until marriage before sexual contact.

I love guy questions. Well the plain truth is that if the other girls weren't the one for him, then they wouldn't have drawn that urge from him. But the ONE, the girl of his dreams brings forth that primal instinct to breed. Its called attraction. The question is do you feel it too?

Maybe he likes her a lot more. Maybe he just went out with the others just to have a girlfriend but this one he really likes.
