this guy was sliding down the banister. It was just me and him in the stair way. He did not see me but then he fell. He fell down the stairs. I made a sound cause I was scared that he had hurt him self. When he heard me he looked up, saw me and stood up. Then he turned red and ran away. RAN AWAY! He went rushing away! What in the world does that mean! I dont think i look that scary or is just a really big dork???

My mom has done some crappy things over the last two years, pretty much since I got engaged to my wife. I moved out from NY to IL to be with my wife back in 2005, and it seems my mom took it personally. When I brought my wife(then fiancee) back to NY to meet my family, my mom invited an ex-gf over with her daughter to have a birthday party for the little girl. I told my mother not to have my ex there under no circumstances, but she laughed it off saying my ex wouldn't take no for an answer.

Last year, in September, my wife and I got married. My mom came out to IL for the bridal shower, but acted rude and childish in front of my in-laws. She was also two hrs late to the shower without calling me. (Hell for all I knew, she could've been in an accident) Then she didn't even make it out here for my wedding, saying she didn't have the money.

My wife, of course, doesn't want anything to do with my mom. Is there anyway to smooth things over, or is this a lost cause?

ok- i dont agree with killing babies.. and if you are going to have sex with someone, you should be ready to face the consequences... at least just give birth to it, and if you can't handle raising a baby, put it in a place it is wanted.

so- isn't the morning-after-pill doing like the same thing.. killing an unwanted child?? BUT if it is a rape, i would tell them to do the pill, instead of the other abortion process...if thats what they choose to do. In the end, i think it is really the girls choice, but i just dont think its right.

we were talking about birth control in my health class the other day, and i just starting thinking about that...

what do you guys think??

I'm really worried about one of my best friends. A few days ago she went out with a guy she's known for a while. He was quite pushy and they started doing stuff, but she explained that she didn't want to go all the way. He said that was fine and he wouldn't push her. He then asked her to turn around. She was wary but trusted him not to have sex with her and did as he said. He then had sex with her. She was very shocked but told me that once he'd started she felt the damage had been done and that even if she made him stop, she would still have had sex with him. So she didn't stop him and afterwards just went home. She's really upset about this but adament that she wasn't raped because she didn't stop him. I'm not sure because she didn't give her consent. It's difficult to talk to her about it because she gets hysterical, saying she refuses to be a victim. I love her so much and hate to see her like this. What do you think?

I am married -and recently my first love contacted me out of the blue. Its been 6 years since we had contact. Now I find myself wanting to talk to him and see him again. We have alot in common and so much history and I see so much in him that want and I don't in my husband. I can't help but thinking if this all happened for a reason and he is the one, but at the same time, I'm not ready to end my marriage. How did this get so confusing for me if I really loved my husband ? Oh, and this guy is still in love with me and has been since we were teenagers. How do I push that away? I have a fear of hurting my family but am I sacrificing my happiness just to keep the peace? What do I do?

I have been married to my wife for more than 3yrs. We met in church and were very good friends. I was a little attracted to her but loved her more for who she is. I have always heard that it's better to marry you best friend then just based on attraction. We have two kids now one is from a previous relationship that she was in (13yrs.) and one is ours (4 yrs). I love my kids allot, but I find that my feelings for my Wife is not a deep love, but a friendship. I am just not attracted to her physically and never really was. She is physically attracted to me and wants to be with me everyday...but I just don't feel the same towards her. I have to act like I do and sometimes I feel that she knows. I am not happy and keep telling myself that more time might change things. I want to love my wife 100% in every way, but just don't and feel that I shouldn't have to force this feeling in my heart. I don't want to end of married after 20yrs. and the kids are gone and then tell her. Any advise?

My husband is a big kid but I need him to be a grown up and clean up after himself.We have 3 children I don't need a grown kid.Last night he vomited on the floor and told one of the kids to throw a towel over it.After yelling at him he went and cleaned it up then my son told him that he also threw up on the back of my kitchen chairs I got on to him again cause he knows Mondays I scrub my kitchenincluding my chairs I told him too.I thought he cleaned it up before he went back outside only for me to find it dried on there this morning.Been marrried 11 years so I got too much time invested in him to leave now.HeHe

So I was in class today doing some small group discussions in my Communications and Gender class and this kid next to me says, "So, how old are you?" out of nowhere, and I said, "Guess."
Him: "22?"
Me: Nope
Him: 23??
Me: higher
Him: 24????? (Raising eyebrows in shock)
Me: Try again
Him: 25???!!! Wow! Well I mean, you still look young!

HAHAHAHAHA. Wow. Then he says the classic,
"So how come you're not married yet???"
I say nothing. Because really, that nosy buggy question doesn't warrant a response, nor does it have an answer. And he says, "Well there's always the sperm bank."

HE SAID THAT!!!!! And when I looked at him to see if he was joking, he wasn't! He said, "No seriously, I mean that's always an option for people like you. I know a few girls who've considered it"

I keep seeing in Answers, brides being told to do anything they want for their weddings/receptions because "it's your day sweetie, no one else counts!" Is there anything a bride should pull back on, or does anything truly go; regardless of manners, taste, or consideration?

I keep seeing all these questions about moving out at 22 b/c "you're an adult" You can be an adult by law all you want. But, if you don't have the financial backing, than your screwed. Why leave home at 22 to incure debt? It's just stupid. It doesn't build character or hard work. It just breaks down the soul when you're 30 and realize you don't have anything. You pay rent and don't own a home. I'm sorry, but I think its more sad to be over 30 and paying rent, then is it to be 24 and living at home. The first seems much sadder, the second more forgivable.

What do people think? In this day and age, with our economy and gas prices at $3.50 a gallon, isn't it better to be 24, debt free and living at home, than moving out a getting into debt. America has a huge debt problem, yet people think moving out to learn financial responsiblity and build character are more important.

My advice is to go to school, get a good job, save up for 2 year or so OR pay off

hello, ok well i affecinitly named my b/f's family the Jerry Springer family (= we are getting married in a year and i'm worried...his mother is a drunk and has lost her mind literaly we went at it even though i tried to hold my tounge knowing i will marry into this family...well now things suck she has been trying to kick my b/f out for no reason since the day i met him we are trying to save for the wedding and i dont want to move in togther until then...but ithink i might have to change that she is getting worse and degrades my b/f all the time to top it off she got my b/f's brother to hate both of us...i didnt do anything seriously she is crazy...my question is can marrieges surivie crazy insane meen families? i love him and he loves me but somtimes i get so over welmed with their drama i dont think i can do it! so yea can it last...and tips on how to deal..i already decided i'm not talking to her anymore i tried to be civilized but that failed.
