Most professional photographers are sensitive to this issue and will have him possibly syand on a step above you, have you be seated, have a small platform for him, etc. My hubby is 2 inches shorter than I am and that is what ours did for us. Congrats!

Just be tall. If you want heels, wear them. Everyone has noticed by now that you're a little taller.

As several people have pointed out, the photographer will have a few tricks to minimize the difference in height.

My daughter is about 7" taller than her husband. (She is 5'9" and he is 5'2") I have a funny photo of her carrying him in her arms. In the photos, some are staged to even their heights, and others show the truth of the matter. Both are fine, and neither one minded if the difference showed or not. If it bothers you, wear flats, no high hair, and talk to the photographer about poses and angles to equalize things.

Have a great wedding day and best wishes!

there is all sorts of different props out there that the photographer will use or do..
there is steps out there, where you would probably drape your dress across, or bend a little bit, depending what sort of dress your wearing.. try to give up your heels. but if all else fails, dont be scared to go natural with heels, as this is the real you.. think of your photos, of years to come when your children realise that you are the same height as daddy in the photos if not shorter then him.. personally i think you should go the way your height is already and have a beautiful wedding day without the awkwardness.. best of luck..

Friends of mine had the same problem. She is 6foot 3 and he is 5 ft 10. What they did was because her dress was long enough she wore white Isotoner slippers (the ones that look like ballet slippers). Now ballet flats are in style so I would suggest these.
He wore a dress shoe that had a slight heel. This made about an inch or so difference.

Look around for cute (white) wedding flats.. that'll make you a little shorter (no one will see your shoes anyway, unless you have a short dress)... So, that takes care of you... then he can get dress shoes that have a little more of a platform (maybe an 3/4'' or so) - There are wedges you can buy that go IN your shoes for an extra 1/2'' or so.

And anyway, if youre just concerned about the pictures just have the photog take some pictures from your chest up (where you can bend down a little to his height?), or waist up, or take a few pictures where you're sitting on his lap or something?
-Just an idea?

Your photographer has probably dealt with this situation before and will be able to help you out with poses for the album that don't emphasize your height difference.

On the other hand, nothing is going to suddenly make you shorter or him taller on your wedding day. Your friends and family already know you're taller than he is.

If you love heels and feel good in them, go ahead and wear them. My beloved is a clear foot taller than I am and I wore flats. Somehow we managed to get close enough to kiss!

Wear a smaller heel with your dress and have him wear a thicker heeled shoe (boots, small platform) just to give him an inch or so. my fiance is 2 inches shorter and I was afraid of wearing heels, but mom convinced me to wear at least an inch and he is wearing boots, which give him an inch or so height. I would also suggest making sure your photographer knows and they can work with the camera angles and stuff to make sure you don't look like a tower over him.

Good Luck!

regrettably - for many people whilst they are in a dating for see you later they grow to be too gentle and permit themselves bypass. no longer all women people are like this regardless of the undeniable fact that - even regardless of the undeniable fact that i'm married, I nevertheless take excitement in my visual attraction. I additionally LOVE intimacy interior the mattress room - my husband and that i nevertheless exercising this very in many situations. It sounds like your no longer in all probability chuffed in this dating - so my advice isn't any, are not getting married. perhaps have a verbal replace to her approximately your concerns (regrettably, conduct are complicated to interrupt), it somewhat is which you are able to have a destroy from one yet another, or maybe date different people for a on a similar time as. If it somewhat is meant to be, you would be back together. existence is in basic terms too short. you do no longer prefer to spend the the remainder of your existence thinking 'what if'.

My sister is 5'9", her husband is 5'6", and yes, she wore heels at her wedding. Vince loves the fact that my sister is tall (she's also the family beauty), and their official wedding picture was the two of them facing each other, and Vince very publically standing on a small stepstool to reach over to kiss her.

They've been married 28 years and going strong (and he still wants her to wear heels)

Well you're starting out on the right path, stay away from heels... also when you are having close up pictures taken, where your feet can not be seen... have him stand one step up from the one you are on. That usually works out well if you are having a church wedding that has steps.

Congrats! Best wishes!
