ive been with my boyfriend since i was 14 and he was 15...i lived in new york my whole youth years moved to florida when i was 15..i left him but we still managed to continue our relationship...we love each other very much and i feel that the distance is messing us up now...we've been having so many problems and arguements i really dnt want to lose him....i do believe we met wit a purpose i met him in church i myself was raised in a christian house hold im 17 we complete 4 years in november im going to finish H.S....2008 and am starting to save money for a huge wedding im not sure what im going to tell my parents but i would like for us to get marry..
he agrees with me but feels we're going to have no support from anyone and everyone is going to bring us down....
i plan to move back to new york go to a university for speech pathology n work my way to raising a family in 6 yr after marriage...many other stories out there i have a teacher he got marry 2 days after hs n has 25yr marry

I've been told by quite a few men, tha I am way to independent and sassy!. I am a good woman,and I believe in catering to my man the way he caters to me. I dont put up with BS..lies, cheating,being stood up,drama,but I know plenty of woman that dont. Whats the problem. Is it me?

There is a cute guy who lives on my block...jason. my boyfriend hid everything from me. he hid it because he knew i wasnt that kinda person and didnt know how i would handle it. he does pot a lot, got drunk with other girls, hung out with complete whores, treated me with no respect, and used me. why are guys interested in the whores? they will only care about him for the time being until they find someone else and will leave him. i always cared 100% about him and stuck with him for almost 2 years. i didnt even know anything was going on until his best friend spilled everything to me. my boyfriend doesnt know about this and me and my boyfriend havent talked to eachother for a little over a week now. hes been hanging out with other girls..cough whores. i wrote him a letter telling him how what hes been doing to me hurts me. do you think it will even make him feel the least bit guilty about hiding stuff behind my back or do you think it wont matter to him? im not calling him cause i dont want to hear him defend himself/hang up on me.

okay my mom found my "toy" and i had to throw it away. she told my stepdad (who has been like my dad for like 13 years). I thought he wuld be mad but hes not. he doesnt see why she is so upset about it. he actually asked me if i wanted it back or another one. he says its okay to see what feels good for me. and its not like i'm out having sex all the time. now he keeps talking about things like that. i think its cool that hes trying to connect with me. but i think its kinda creepy too. but i mean he asked if i've watched porn before n i said yes. I've been with my husband (not married legally, been with him for last 7 years) for a while now, but in January I noticed the change in him. Well, found out he was having affair, and knew who the woman was. After many months of fighting with the other woman, she finally realized he was playing games with her too, as I told her he would, and she told me everything that happened between them. Call me crazy, but we started talking, and now we are friends and every time we talk, he gets pissed off. I personally think that this is very funny to see him angry when we talk. I've been in a relationship with my boyfriend for 4 years, and I'm 19...lately I've been thinking whether or not I should try dating other guys because I won't be young for long and my last date was back when I was 15.
Am I a bad girlfriend for thinking this way? There is nothing wrong with my boyfriend, he is the sweetest and greatest guy, but I can't help but wonder whether I'm missing out on something. Maybe I'm just thinking he's THE ONE because I haven't dated other people except for him.
What do you guys think? Should I suggest seeing other people and see how it works out? Or keep my relationship the way it is?

Ok so here is my problem!!! I have 2 daughter's with this man and We were together for 3 years but things were really bad and he was abusive and such a jerk! He controlled everything I did right down to letting me talk to my family! I hated being with him and 2 years ago I broke it off and got away since then my life has been great and things have gone good except for him fighting with me over the girls. Saturday I seen him at a family's Open house and he was begging for me to take him back he told me he had changed and that he wants to be there for his girls. He even had my cousin's trying to tell me to get back with him. My problem is this. I can't stand him and know things never change but I feel like a bad mother because I have split the family what should I do!!!

I found and tried on a gorgeous dress yesterday and no problem with the backless aspect of it...it's a very sexy (yet tasteful) dress. My friend who was there with me said not many people could pull it off, but i did....
The reason I ask this now, is that i just read something about maybe a backless dress isn't appropriate ????

My boyfriend (of one year) and I love each other, but whenever we talk about progressing further, he refers to not being IN love. What is heck is that anyway? I'm not "head-over-heels-butterflies-in-my-stomach-in-love" either! But that doesn't mean I don't love him and don't think we're working out. He's the same way, but thinks we should wait til he feels "more", so he doesn't have to force it. This shouldn't be so hard....
So - Is "love" and "in love" really that different? Perhaps we're just the kind of people who, since we've never been "in love" and all goofy-like before, in previous relationships, that we just will never get that way with anyone. I think our source of love is just being ourselves and being comfortable with each other....not waiting to wake up one morning & realize you're in love. I don't believe in that. I also don't believe we should deprive ourselves of a lasting relationship, waiting for a feeling that maybe we already have and just don't recognize?

we are same age, 28, and we been dating for about 5 years. i love him and i know he loves me as well. (no questions about love plz) i have a steady job and make around $100,000/yr. i am a designer and work for sean john in ny. i graduated from parsons.

my b/f, he's not so financially stable. he graduated from stonybrook... barely. works in time warner cable as a broadband tech. gets paid around $40k. he promised me he will go to graduate school. he is currently studying for GMAT.

being of where i am and where he is financially, all i want from him is 2 carat tiffany engagement ring. obviously he cannot buy on his own, but his parents tell him thats too much. am i being selfish? or is it his parents being selfish?
