The law firm that had the contraverial 'Life is Short. Get a Divorce' billboard up has now taken to advertising on the sides of trucks. The advertising has a woman in lingerie and a man's muscular body exposed. Do you think they're making light of a serious problem Americans have, or do you think people are making too much of an innocent advertisment?

My wife left 4 weeks ago after an abortion. She started screaming at me and the kids that nobody was taking care of her. Basically losing control. I had to physically remove her from my son’s room because she was yelling terrible things like “I just got my guts ripped out for this family and nobody is cleaning up the house!” Right in front of the kids. I know she was emotional but you just can’t take it out on children like that. She accused me of abusing her when I had to get her out of the kids room, she packed, and then she left. Told me she wanted a divorce and all this by email. Told me what she wanted out of the house. I didn’t agree with what she wanted and emailed her back to tell her I loved her so why doesn’t she calm down and come back. No communication from her in 3 weeks…..none. No attorney calling me, no email telling me when she’s moving out….nothing. It’s really bizarre. It’s like she vanished. I do see her car around every so often but other than that no communication. However she seems to want to see me in the morning because she waits at this convenient store up the street when I leave for work but I just avoid her and drive on. I haven’t gotten an email, note or anything from her in like a month. It’s so weird. She’s staying with family and I told them what happened that she got an abortion and she drinks a lot when down so they need to watch her. What do I do if she’s totally not communicating? I tried to email her but got nothing back. It’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever experienced. Just two weeks before she left I was the love of her life. Then when I couldn’t wait on her hand and foot after the abortion she lost it and told me I loved the kids more. Well they’re kids and they need food, attention, and someone to wipe their nose. I did go in every hour to check on her to see if she needed anything and brought her dinner. I don’t know what else I could have done. Now…..nothing. she’s gone. Totally. No communication. Nothing. What do I do?

On average, do black men possess more physical prowess? Bigger shoulders, stronger backs, etc? (Please note, I'm not interested in penis size.)

What do you think? Is this a stereotype or a well known fact?

So my boyfriend and best friend of ten years has decided to take a break and I told him no and that I would rather just break up. I'm so sick about it. I can't do anything, I can't focus. When will I begin to feel normal again? I love him but I didn't want to take a break because we tried this before he goes out as much as he wants, yet we aren't allowed to see other people, we still talk everyday and say I love you, but we can't hang out. Those are his rules and they do not make any sense to me. I feel like he just doesn't want to be with me anymore and is trying to take the easy way out. I just want to get over him, I don't want to sit on a break for weeks wondering what his decision is going to be. If feels as though he has all the power. It's going to be hard for the past ten years I have talked to him every single day. How will I get through this by myself. How can I prevent myself from calling me? If he really does love me he will come back even if I broke up with him right?

i think my family started a new tradition. when my oldest brother was little and began speaking, he learned to say his dad's name better than saying "dad". he never got used to calling our father "dad". he always called him by his name!!!!then my other brother was born, along with me, my younger brother and my little sister. the same thing happened with all the rest of us:we heard our older brother call our dad by his name and he passed it down. we are the first generation that did this(in case you're wondering, we call our mother "mom", thats normal LOL). now, my brother's son calls my brother by his name!!! not only that, he also calls my sister in law by her own name! my nephew doesnt call his parents "mom" and "dad". we dont think that is a bad thing. all of us think it is cute. my dad never cared that we called him by his name, he just lovingly grew used to it. now his grandson is doing the same thing with his father LOL. do you think this is weird????

All of my previous boyfriends have liked giving oral sex, some really loved it. My current beau doesnt seem that fussed either way which is a bit dissapointing as when he does do it, it's seems like it's out of duty so i don't enjoy it as much. My question is do you actually like giving your woman oral are you just doing it because you want it back or because you have to. I always thought men loved it maybe Iv'e just always been lucky.!

This may seem daft, but I wish my husband would notice me like he used too. I know that after a few years the passion can subside, but I do miss it.

He just seems utterly blind to me as a sexual woman with needs. We only make love once or twice a month. We have been together 5 years.

Other men notice me, and it gives me a buzz, but I wish my husband would look at me in the same way! A gorgeous guy at work has made it clear he is attracted to me and it makes me feel warm and giddy, like my husband used too. I would not do anything, but I fear that the lack of love and attention from my husband will one day drive me into someone elses arms.

I am open about how I feel, but I dont think he see's the problem. I am currently loosing weight to regain my self confidence, but have not told him, I want to see if he starts to notice me again.

Ladies, I know alot of you out there have felt this way at some point during your married lives. Do you have any advice for me?

Many Thanks

A question here made me think of a story: A woman was shopping and bumped into another shopper, a complete stranger. She quickly appologized, feeling horribly for knocking their stuff to the floor. Later that night, she was cooking dinner. Her 6 yr old son was standing silently behind her. When she turned around and ran into him she yelled at him to get out of the way and go sit down. The child went to his room crying. When dinner was done, she noticed something on the floor by the stove. It was the flowers her son had picked to give to her.

Question here is, why are we so polite to strangers, people we'll never see again, and so mean to the people we love most?

*** My theory: Because we know they will always love us. We take that love for granted and abuse it. Food for thought.

My husband & I are having marital problems. Things seem to be fine when out of no where he picks fights, resulting in ignoring each other & being resentful. He tries to spin situations around, but I know the truth & don't allow for these mind games. During our most recent confrontation concerning problems in the marriage he continuously boasted (with arms stretched on back of couch) about how great he is, even using these words to describe himself; great, fantastic & even perfect. I asked him if he thinks I should bow down to him, he said yes! Now I know any decent human being wouldn't feel the need to announce their "greatness" but am some what confused as to why he felt he had to convince me he was this great person. Is he trying to sell me on this I'm so fantastic attitude? B/c I'm not buying it! Can anyone tell me why? Possible signs of bipolar? My profile tells more. If there's anyone who can seriously help me, my email is available. Thank you to anyone that can help- Lauren

The situation is complicated. My husband and I got married and had our first child last year--just after we started dating so we weren't ready for it. He also has two kids to whom he is *supposed* to be paying child support to. He is actually trying to get a job and it isn't his fault he lost his last one but he's pretty behind now. I'm confident he'll find work soon however, I'm not sure he'll keep his job long. He has a long history of quitting jobs.
The other issue is that he has 25,000 in student loans and only has a 2 year degree. He has tried continually to go back to school but fails all his classes. He barely managed to get his 2 year degree and had exactly a gpa of 2.0.
I have tried to explain to him that he should wait to go back to school and save up some money, as we have no money, lots of debt and are still living with my parents. He won't listen and says if he doesn't do it now, he never will. He doesn't function well and probably needs some medication that he won't
