My son is a very sensitive 8 year old and I have gotten the news that his biological father has prostate cancer and is in the hospital.
Before too much more is said, please understand, he has not seen or spoken to this man in over three years, by the father's choice.

His father is or was before cancer, in prison for the second time in two years.


His father's family told me the news in a mass sent email, to friends, family, strangers, whoever was in the address book.

His father has had a history of having "diseases" that are killing him since i met him in 1993. He is still alive.

I am not on speaking terms with his father, but if the worst were to happen, I would take him to see him, sick or dead. That would be the only way I would travel that far (over 600 miles).

I have no idea how to say this to my son or even how much of it is true, please help.

I broke a good relationship bcoz of my parents.It looks like the other person is still in love with me , I am sure this is the best decision that can be taken given the circumstances.I do not know what words will console the person . I am thinking the best thing that can be done , is not to start the fire by being in contact with the person . I hope time will heal the person and i think healing process is delayed , if ex keeps in touch . Am i right ?It was my mistake and i take the blame whole heartedly. What's the point? It's not like I'm suicidal, I just... don't see the point. Right now, I'm stuck in a small town with no friends, no family except my parents who are the ones who moved us out here in the first place (5 years ago). All my friends have moved away here, and there is litterally NO one my age here. The closest to my age is 23... but they have a life of their own, and we don't get along. The closest city is 2 1/2 hours away. All my family and friends live 13-14 hours away. I don't care about school. I could get all F's, or all A's, and I wouldn't care in the slightest. I just don't care about anything anymore. What's the point if we're all just going to die. I don't believe in heaven or hell, no second life, nothing. I think we're like a candle, once the flame is out, it's gone. It wasn't relocated somewhere else, it's just gone. Whats the point? I seriously, have no motivation to do anything. I just don't care. So what is the point, or purpose in life?

-shes real shy, never talks to guys
-my friend and I agree that she looks at me all the time when im not looking then looks away when i catch her
-ever since she has known that i liked her, her hair has been down. before it was up and crappy b-cuz of swimming (she still has swimming)
-one day i waited for her to pass me. then she turned around and looked at me. then walked a few more yards. then turned around again and we made intense eye contact for about 1-2 sec.
-for all of these hints she has known that i like her
-the day my friend dropped hints that i was gonna ask her out she came near me at the end of the hour
-one time i caught her staring at me then she looked away (possibly at nothing) and started smiling
-She assigned to sit next to me 6th hr
-For 2 days in a row when she wore a short sleeve shirt, she had goosebumps on her arm when she sat down next to me
-1 day she ask me question about classwork, and shes nvr done that to any1 else (i dont think)

i feel like am in the middle of my two best friends okay this is how it happened my friend's angel and candy are like my sisters but when angel started talking about candy she swore for me not to tell then candy started talking ab angel and she also told me not to tell then later on down the line they kept telling me stuff about each other and idk what to do should i tell both of then what they have been saying about each other or keep it to myself its been like this the whole....... year i wanna keep my promise and not tell but i cant take it anymore

My fiance broke it all off recently... my friends say it is because he is going away to the marines... but why would he lie to me and talk about marriage and tell me if he loved me if he would just end up breaking it off? My boyfriend, the father of my child is in prison and will be until our son is 6 months old. I heard the father has to sign the birth certificate in order to have his name on it. Does anyone know how I can have his name put on the birth certificate, or how I can have the document sent to him to be signed? I'm a little uneasy about sending such an important legal document in the mail.... I'm not even really sure how the signing works.. I'm not sure how the birth certificate thing works at all.. Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated, or maybe if anyone knows where I can find information or advice on this topic... This is very important to the both of us.

I received this lame email from them that they are so sorry that all data is lost. They've offered me a 20% discount at a wedding favors store. Why do they think that this replaces all of the countless hours I spent on my wedding site? I've been working on my site for almost a year and now every photo, every link, all text is completely gone. I am so upset!

This is their fault as they had a problem with their server or something. I think they should've had this information backed up!

Has anyone else had this problem with them?
