I received this lame email from them that they are so sorry that all data is lost. They've offered me a 20% discount at a wedding favors store. Why do they think that this replaces all of the countless hours I spent on my wedding site? I've been working on my site for almost a year and now every photo, every link, all text is completely gone. I am so upset!
This is their fault as they had a problem with their server or something. I think they should've had this information backed up!
Has anyone else had this problem with them?

Wow, I think this Barbra lady must work for weddingtracker.com!
There are ways to back up anything that is put on the internet, and this company should of been doing that. This is a site that you pay for so it is their responsibility to maintain the site properly, so that your information is safe. I would ask for a full refund and take my business elsewhere if I were you. You paid for a product that they did not deliver which is unacceptable.

No but that really stinks! You didnt have information anywhere else, like in a wedding planning book? I sure hope you have some idea of all the plans that was on that site. I'm sorry that happened, and yes they should back up, (especially if people are paying), but stuff happens...dont let it get you too P.Oed okay? Relax it will all work out in the end.

I would also ask for a refund. Then go to another site and find out what they are doing to prevent such problems, before going through the whole set up process again.
Sorry about this, I know how crazy something like that would make me!

if you have been working on this site for a year then by now you should already know everything by heart. ive only been planning my wedding for 2 months and trust me i already memorize everything i want. I've always known what i wanted i just needed the money to get it done. so dont worry im sure everything in your head will start coming out and beside these things happen everyday.

My bestfriend had something similar happen. It wasn't her wedding webiste but it was a planning site and she lost all of her planning information. God were we scrambling to try and get everything together again and remember all the contract info.
Its horror stories like this that have made me stick to my spiral notebook, folder, and my glue stick. I don't love it but I know it won't crash, lol.
