Welcome back BridefromHell. Grow up, get a job, get a life, and stop posting bogus questions on Yahoo.

Do not waste your time thinking about this person's question. She is an obnoxious teenager sitting home alone playing on her parent's computer. She has had a number of different names and she just comes on here to post inane questions to annoy people.

I vote Grandpa.

Your Dad obviously knew he couldn't handle a kid, and let Grandpa take over. Grandpa changed your diapers, fed you, sat up with you when you were sick, etc. He has been the one to put the effort in all these years, not Dad. Let your Dad know your decision, and if he's mad, oh well. Tell him you feel that it is fair since Grandpa took you in and took care of you. I know that your Grandpa would be thrilled to so the honor of walking his beautiful grown woman down the isle. If its too much too handle, have them walk on either side of you, so both can do the honor of giving you away! I have seen it before! Good luck

I say if you had a great relationship with your dad then you should have BOTH walk you down the isle, but if grandpa has ever been the only man in your life, then i vote for grandpa.

Well, you could go with both, or you could go with who you think is the person that is the closest to you. I'd vote for grandpa, but have a special moment in the ceremony for your dad. Maybe ask your fiance if you think your dad would make a good groomsman even.

I actually went to a wedding once where the bride's father was deceased. So the groom walked back down the aisle just before she entered, and walked her down the aisle himself. It was gorgeous. So make it meaningful and important to you.

I say BOTH of them. Youre grandpa has been there for you, and your Dad made you, and its tradition usually unless something else comes up... I think it would be VERY cute to have both of them walk you down the isle!

Good luck and congrats!! :)

Dad could walk you halfway down and then grandpa the rest of the way. Kiss Dad and then take Grandpa's arm. It will be sweet and touching.

My friend is doing this with her Dad and Step Dad (her Step Dad basically raised her, her Dad wasn't in the picture as much). Her dad is walking her down the aisle, but when the minister says, who gives this woman, her step dad will say he does (since he was the one greeting the boys at the front door when she was a teenager/younger).

Congratulations and good luck!!

How close are you with your Dad

If you're close to both men - then they can both walk you down the aisle

Or grandpa can walk you down the aisle and Dad can be Man of Honor - a bit non-traditional perhaps - but hey, you had a non-traditional family.

Either way, when the minister asks who gives this woman ... they both can say "We do."

I like the answer: what about one on either arm. I think it would be sweet and everyone at your wedding would be happy. Alot of young parents as they get older feel bad about missing the earlier part of their childrens life, if for some reason your father is having that kind of feeling, I think his feelings would be hurt if he didnt get to walk you down the aisle. I would say both. I think that is a great idea!

You should have your dad and grandpa walk you down the aisle (one on each arm). Congrats on getting married!
