You have to check with the county it was filed in. And it is a matter of Public Record so you can see it for yourself.

You have to pinpoint which county in Lewiston the divorce was settled in, they will only have one courthouse per county. These records are public records and often times are available on the county website. And yes, YOU can, don't listen to the other person that said you can't. Anyone can obtain "public" records, no ID required. I know because I just did this. I just got married last month and before I could get our marriage license I had to obtain his divorce decree. Since he works at a job he can't easily leave from, I went and got it for him. No questions asked, all I needed was his last name, I didn't even need her first name. But that's here in my state/county, I live in PA.

Why do you want these? What's up with your communication skills? First, you should ask your boyfriend all the questions you need answers to. Then, see how you feel as he is answering the questions. Then really listen to your heart. If your heart is telling you that he's being deceptive or sneaky, then that in itself should be enough to make you find another boyfriend who will not make you feel like that. The fact that you would go through all of this to get answers speaks volumes about you and your relationship.

The County in which he filed would have it on file, as it is a public record and anyone can see it, and get copies for a small fee if you want.

Some states have the info online even.
