Hi guys, my bf is currently on holiday in spain with his mate. Apart from feeling a bit down cos i miss him, i'm also worried that he'll be tempted to cheat. you see, his friend is not very good at chatting up the ladies and relies on my boyfriend to reel them in and im a bit scared in case he decides to cheat on me, as I will never really know. I have reason to worry as he did cheat on me before with an ex gf. I forgave him, but reminded him that i would only forgive him once, he does it again, and we are through. I also wonder if he thinks about me. he took his laptop with him cos he said that he would email me (which he done yesterday) does this mean that he does think about me? am i right to think that if he really wanted to forget me he wouldnt have emailed? Im dead confused and finding it hard to adjust spending time on my own. I used to moan at him saying that he doesnt give me any space and now that i have it, im not liking it too much! lol.

I know my husband loves me; he tells me all the time that I'm beautiful and that he likes me for me. But tonight before bed he very gingerly tried to tell me that:

1) he doesn't know how to bring up this topic without it going bad (because every time we have these talks I can't help but get upset, hurt and self-conscious)

2) he would really love it if I could lose a few pounds before our vacation... and wishes I'd be more self-motivated to do so instead of relying on him to make us exercise.

I know he has the best intentions -- and I am totally willing to try harder and to do it for him because I do love him -- but I can't help but feel hurt! Because it just tells me that when he looks at me, he's thinking, "sigh, I wish she'd lose weight." It makes me want to hide away and not be vulnerable for him anymore.

Husbands - how do you wish your wife would react? Wives - what do you say to this?? How can I react in an receptive way?

Right now I'm just not talking to him...

Every time my husband and I get into any kind of disagreement it always turns into a fight. He packs up and leave and always goes to his brothers house.Bad mouths me really badly.Because he seems to need to have people feel sorry for him. He does things like yell at me really loud if I say something he doesn't like in front my grandchildren, or his son who visits us.If I say please don't yell the kids are here . He'll yell even more.And when I tell him to stop he starts saying terrible things like,he needs know whats going on,he needs to know that we're going to get a divorce.Or this. One day we were at his sons house and were in an disagreement I was keeping it low.We were discussing something about finances.
and how he broke a promise. He yells" At least I wasn't spending money on drugs.( I'm a recovering addict )I tell him to keep it down his son is down stares. He say really loud, he needs to know whats going on,that you were a drug addict.What kind of behavior is this ?

We've had this argument b4 but my husband obviously has a short memory. I've just had a baby & at home on maternity leave & my husband has been home on parental leave & using a lot of the time to do renovations around the home. I have NO problem with any of that as he's doing a wonderful job around the house & I'm taking care of the baby & inside the home. I always comment about what a great job he's doing & how the latest improvement looks great, however, he undervalues the work I do inside the home & this has caused me to go on strike again. I did this a few months ago and he seemed to get the picture after about a week. The house was disgusting without me keeping it tidy & there was no food in the house or clean clothes. He's obviously got a short memory because here we go again. Yep, I'm on strike again as I really need him to understand that my work inside the home is what I'm good at & all the handyman stuff he's good at and enjoys and together we make a great team. Ideas?

I've been dating a guy since the beginning of March. Things were going great. I discovered in late April that he has an STD (one that doesn't go away). I had been waiting for him to admit it to me -- trying to give him a chance to tell me first. Now, he's blowing me off -- like guys do when they no longer want to date you. Normally, I recognize the blow off and just move on. However, in this case, I feel like I have to confront him to tell him that he was a jerk for subjecting me to a life long STD. Is it worth it to confront him, or just let it go? As far as I know I haven't contracted the disease -- but it could show up in the future.

Okay-me and my boyfriend were over at his house and skippin the whole inside--we started makin out. He tried to touch me in both places, knowing I didn't want to-so finally he apologized and said i had worked him up too much-so we calmed down. later on, i kinda...put his hand on my breast and we started makin out again. I have been dating a guy for about 8 months and he is much more sexually expeirienced and worldly than I am. I am in town 2-3 weeks each month, rest of the time I travel overseas for business. She stays alone when I am out of town. She told me she didnt know her ex was married until after they stayed together. It was her first time. She broke off with him but he continues to pursue her.
She says she loves me.
I asked her many times whether her ex visited her during my absence. She didnt talk much and would reply that he did, but once or twice. They talked only.
However, recently I discovered that her ex visited her almost daily during my absence and also she had been seeing him about twice a week when I was in town.
She claims they talked only.

Since returning from overseas, i have had depression, seen a counsellor and tkaing meds, but the trigger was returning and since returning all i have been saying is that i dont want to be there, at home, with my family, and that i no longer get along with my friends etc etc i have been a horrible bperson refusing to do anything with any of them and just wingeing about everything, now i have no idea what to do, i have burnt my bridges with nearly everyone, my mum said she doesnt want me at home anymore and i have no where to go as all my firends are sick of me and who would want to be around someone that just complains all the time, i dont blame any of them but i have no idea how to repair the damage i have done to my life........has anyone else had this problem?

And we still talk a lot, like we talked when we were together but he won't get back together with me.. He actually might be going to jail tomorrow for awhile because he is dealing with some past stuff and the only way to clear his record is to go to court and see if he can get it cleared..and the only way that might happen is if he serves time.. Could it be that he might go to jail so he doesnt want to get together while he's there or he just doesn't want to commit!?
