Some guys hold the pain in. But others when a loved one dies or when a very happy occasion is going on the will cry. We'll cry silently, we don't want to get embarrassed. That's the most HONEST answer I can think of. :)

It is written in the Manual of Life and Rules of Manhood(Volume 1 section 3) that men will be allowed to cry and still maintain their manly respect of other men under the following strict circumstances;

1. When a partner, fiend or family member passes away. Just let it out big man! Doesn't apply to pets. You'll just ahve to suck that one up son.

2. When yer team loses a) a cup final b) a play-off final c) a European place d) gets relegated.

3. When Mufasa dies in the Lion King. It's just not right.

4. When someone kicks u in the knackers.

That's it lads. I don't wanna hear any of this piffy modern day man rubbish about marrying yer true love and the day yer baby was born/walked/spoke/kicked a ball nonsense. You're a man who must prject an air of manly manliness at all times. You will inhibit the manly strength and in turn those around you will learn and feed from your example.

Savvy?

Physical pain should never make a man cry. The only time a man is ever aloud to cry is:
1) if his dog dies
2) if a close friend/relative dies
3) a she-devil broke his heart
4) he just watched the end of Old Yellar
5) if he's acting like a little ***** (and admits it)

I'm pretty sure those are the only reason for crying if you're a guy.

I lost my two younger sisters when I was nine years old and since then I never cried for the next 27 years. I guess I supressed that part of my self. But when I lost my wife to cancer last year the flood gates of 27 years of pain just openned up. I've never been the same since and I will readily cry when I'm moved to do so. I think it is healthy to cry and let it out.

Nowadays, certain songs that remind me of my wife still make me cry.

As hard as it is to admit, men do cry. I personally cry when I think about dying or the death of my loved ones. Also some movies make me cry (forrest gump, Little miss sunshine) Also when my football team lost by a field goal at states I cried because I was so upset.

That's an odd question-of course men cry-they ARE human!
As for the what, it's different for everyone. I cry when I am hurting, but also when I feel deeply touched by something/someone. And yes, certain movies will do it.

To tell you the truth yes men cry. We don't like to admit it but yea we do. I cried at my wedding and blamed it on the smoke from the candles. The bad thing was they were electric, and I cry at funerals epically if that person was close to me or my wife. I tear up a little at her relatives funerals not because her relative died but because I can see how much she is hurt and I can't help it.

If the event was sad enough to the guy, he would probably cry, but do his best to hide it from others.

But all guys cry at least once in there lives. It's a human emotion that everyone has.

"REAL" men cry. We cry over a lot of things: when our favorite sports teams win or lose a championship game, when we get physically hurt ( is usually accompanied with a lot of swearing), when we experience emotional loss (death of a parent, friend, pet), when we experience ultimate joy ( wedding day or birth of our children.) I have a habit of crying during Disney Cartoon movies- Bambi, Tarzan- or while watching Extreme Makeover Home Edition,
