My wedding gown I ordered online is BEAUTIFUL, pure silk, custom/handmade and fits like a glove, but I ordered it in white, and it came as an Ivory/Antique white and I am a little dissapointed. I contacted dying companies, and they said that silk is naturally this color and cannot by dyed. I cannot return the dress or get a refund (believe me, I tried). This is my first marriage, I have no children, and I was looking forward to the traditional white gown, but everyone is telling me that the Ivory is beautiful and old fashion, and that I should just stick with it. Is everyone just trying to make me feel better by telling me to keep the gown? Are there going to be whispers when I walk down the aisle when everyone sees me in ivory instead of white? Is the difference between ivory and white that different? Is the tradition THAT important, or should I just suck it up and stick with this gown? I REALLY love this gown, I am just concerned about it not being pure white = (

i have stayed at home since i had our son in november. my husband has his own business. i have no clue as to how much money we have. i have no access to any money unless he gives it to me. i have run out of gas and had no money. if i need to go to the store or run errands i have to get money from him first. he gave me 110 dollars for groceries last night. i got to the check out and was 20 dollars short. i was kinda mad about it. he got mad at me and said he is the one working for all the money and i should be happy with how much he gave me. what should i do?

money CAN buy love. in fact, if you have money love comes to you automatically. you don't even have to go look for it and purchase it.

i bet if i carry a suitcase full of cash to a club chicks would be throwing their panties and cell phones at me!

poor people are the ones who need inner beauty to get love.

I'll make this as simple as possible..............................
I like a man from work. He is a bit older.what say 13 years.I am attracted to him and look at him all of the time so he knows i like him and he looks back and i guess what i am trying to say is that we are flirting. I thought it was just me but i saw him staring at me the other day and when i looked up he kept looking and then he looked away after about 6-7 secs. is he attracted to me?

Just actions from a guy friend I have some interest in that lives in another city. I just want opinions.

1) When he has not seen me in awhile, he hugs me as soon as I get there, says he misses me and asks if I missed him.

2) Picks on me but not in a mean way

3) Holds my hand to lead me through a crowd

4) Asks about my friends and introduces me to his

5) Brings up topics like marriage, kids and people living together, just his beliefs

6) Holds me and runs his fingers through my hair

7) Won't let me pay for anything even though I offer

8) Asks what I am doing for my birthday, that is not for another 3 months

9) Asks if I still talk to my ex

10) Asks about my future plans

11) Says there are jobs like what I am looking for where he lives

12) When his friends call he says "we", not "I"

Does any of this mean anything? I have my own idea but just want to know what people think.

He is my intimate friend, we kinda share lots of humor, subjects and mainly interests. Yesterday, it was supposed that we meet to have dinner at a restaurant and to have some talk ... so he reached there before time and we met and suddenly he told me "Oppps! I forgot my driving license at home, I was in a hurry coz I dont wanna be late to you." we laughed a lot but still I feel that these days he is referring to something like when he tells me "You are so special girl to me, I like you more than you imagine." and other times "I respect you and even more than respect." Is it that coz he is sweet caring person or these are special methods made for me?

I am about to go out on a first date with a guy that is alot older than me. I am 23 and he is 31. I have never went out with anyone that much older.. anyways, he seems real nice and sincere, but what kinda scares me is he has a 6 year old son, and divorced. I guess this kinda concerns me because I have never delt with this situation before. It is just one date though, what could it hurt, right?

My soon-to-be-ex husband has been putting 100% of the blame on our marriage ending from day one. He says everything is my fault, and that he is not to blame at all for what has happened. I know I had my faults, yes, who doesn't? BUT it takes two ... why is he belittleing me and trying to make me feel worse than I already do?

I called in to provide information about a neighbor who is quite abusive to his child and has many domestic disputes almost on a daily basis last month. The local children and youth never investigated. I called in yesterday about the father was outside smoking what appeared to be illegal drugs with some of his friends. I called in again and a person from children and youth went to the house yesterday and spent about 5 minutes outside talking with just the mother and then drove directly over to my home and was very abusive with me and told me she was going to have the district attorney file charges against me for a false report. This is not right and i will never ever call in anything again.

When do women decide -this guy is worth chasing.? How do women decide on this. Especially, because you have just a few minutes to interact with them.

I am a master's student semi-dating a man who is in his 30's but does not even have a G.E.D.

The issue is that even though he makes me laugh and we like each other, the educational gap makes me wonder how far we can go. I know that we are not supposed to pick people solely on educational status, but the circles I travel in and work I do because of my degree, I do not know if he could really go along for the ride (and vice versa). He is a truck driver trying to establish his own business. I always have to correct his English, he kind of hates white people, does not like wearing suits, etc........And he constantly ask for clarity when I speak because he feels my words are too complex....I like him and many ways we have a lot in common...However, because I am a young professional building a career and character, he and I, I anticipate, will clash a lot because of life directions...What do you all think?

my dad. he doesnt like my boyfriend since the first day he saw my boyfriend. he reason he gave me is that he thinks that my boyfriend is a smoker and drinks a lot. (my boyfriend doesnt smoke. he drinks bt only at apecial ocassion) i explained it to him but he never sits down n listen. so, he made my boyfriend promise him that he wont see me again. in this situation. in my opinion, i think my boyfriend has no other option but to say yes to my dad. so he did. but after that, my boyfriend keep seeing me as usual. my dad knows about it and he keep on saying that my boyfriend doesnt keep his promise. how can i solve this issue between my dad and my boyfriend? how can i make my dad accept my boyfriend? i am caught between both parties that are equally important and it feels really bad. pls help. i appreciate it.

I am completely in love w my boyfriend, believe he is my soulmate. We have been dating for 1 year 2 months. I am turning 33 this year and he just turned 30. I've been living on my own 10 years and am ready to take the next step. He just moved out of his parents 2-3 years ago and bought studio co-op. The place is definetly too small for me and my cat. He likes his studio and will not sell it untill Oct 2008 due to tax. Might be a way of renting it? His parents visit 4 times a year and stay at his place. In January he casually was asking if I want to live together sometime and I said yes. Then 2 weeks later when I asked he "backed out" saying he looked at his finances and also that he did not mean it anytime soon!? I got upset and this has been causing insecurities and fights since February. "he needs several months of not mentioning it and no arguments to consider it" I don't know what this means time wise. I need to sign my lease by 7/15 for 9/1 renewal 1 year. What do I do?? Say? Act?

Just by chance my best friends son got a job and moved to the same area of the country I live. She can't seem to accept the fact that he is grown and makes his own decisions. Now she has decided to fly back with me and visit him which is getting me involved with all this. My husband is a good man but won't put up with this conflict if it makes its way into our home. Any useful ideas other than blowing her off? She is a life time friend.

I love this man I am with and he loves me. He has asked me to marry him but he wants to move to Costa Rica. I have said yes, and I don't regret saying yes. I am happy with my decision, I can't wait to go. I just want to know some people's opinion.
He is a wonderful man. He says he is very happy with me and all. Also, I am not a stranger to the spanish language, so that will not be a problem.
Would you run off to a foreign country to be with the one you love and leave your family behind.

Oh yeah, my family and I aren't very close.

My husband sometimes works late on the weekends. The problem is.. Alot of the time, the kids are gone, im home alone and very bored and like to get together with my friend (female) and go out to the bar. Its nice to get out of the house and socialize. Im not getting into any trouble, i dont drink too much and I walk to the bar so im not drinking and driving. It really bothers my husband. He feels that if he is out working that I shouldnt be out having fun with the girls. I should be sitting home. I can understand that it bothers him and he is earning money for us and im out "drinking" but im not spending alot of money and im being good and not doing anything wrong. What do you think?

Several months ago my husband decided to no longer drink, admitting he had a problem with alcohol. He can't drink one or two beers, he always in excess ALWAYS!! Anyway, within the last couple months he has started drinking again and last night when I got home from work he had been drinking for 4 hours, was drunk and hanging out on the internet (nothing seedy I knew what site he was on)...he then spent until 2 AM!! drinking and chatting on the net ignoring me the whole time. I even tried to explain to him that I was not comfortable being in an environment w/alcohol abuse (having grown up in it) and that there is a difference between one or two drinks to relax after a hard day and then there is drinking in excess everytime you drink...he says he understands and respect where I am coming from and then GOES OUT AND BUYS MORE BEER?!! WTF?!! Would you be angry? How do I make him understand why I am so upset and disappointed in him?
