I am about to go out on a first date with a guy that is alot older than me. I am 23 and he is 31. I have never went out with anyone that much older.. anyways, he seems real nice and sincere, but what kinda scares me is he has a 6 year old son, and divorced. I guess this kinda concerns me because I have never delt with this situation before. It is just one date though, what could it hurt, right?

Yea! I mean dating older guys for some women is a good thing. The men are more mature than the younger one and most likely have a job. This kid shouldn't be a problem. I know a lot of people who date men that have kids and are divorced. I think that is a good idea to date him, you might like it.

Couldn't hurt for one date. Unless after that date he finds some attraction to keep him coming back, like you giving him the impression you want more of a relationship. That's not too bad of an age difference, however, especially since you are of legal age. If you are interested in the same kind of things, it makes it a lot easier on the difference in age.

Go on the date. There is a reason why you even accepted the date, You are attracteded to him. See how it goes. For all you know you will find out that you guys have nothing in common or for all you know you guys will. Just take it one step at a time. Too early to really stress out about it.

Well....first and formost...does he know how old you are? and then u know, if you feel freaked out just tell him like im sorry because i dont feel comfortable dating a guy way older then me.

it one date who knows you actully might like him and everything else wont matter I am 37 and the guy I am dating is 48 and he a grandpa and I am ok with that
