He is my intimate friend, we kinda share lots of humor, subjects and mainly interests. Yesterday, it was supposed that we meet to have dinner at a restaurant and to have some talk ... so he reached there before time and we met and suddenly he told me "Oppps! I forgot my driving license at home, I was in a hurry coz I dont wanna be late to you." we laughed a lot but still I feel that these days he is referring to something like when he tells me "You are so special girl to me, I like you more than you imagine." and other times "I respect you and even more than respect." Is it that coz he is sweet caring person or these are special methods made for me?

It means he likes you. It sounds like he is testing the waters to see how you will react. He's afraid of just saying he likes you and finding out you don't and then he feels like an idiot. He is putting out those hints to see if you like him too. If you like him start hinting back. When he says he likes you alot say you like him alot too. He will get it and might even ask you out on a date or something. Good Luck.
