My boyfriend and I of one year recently broke-up, but got back together a few weeks later. He has been on his own for a long time and never been married (he's in his early 50's) He definitely has a problem compromising. Last year he didn't make much effort to do anything for my birthday, and wouldn't come with me to my family's for Thanksgiving or Christmas. He has no family in the area, and for Christmas he flew to the west coast to see his daughter. This I understand since I would never come between him and his daughter, but I don't think asking to spending time with me and my family for birthdays and holidays is too much to ask since it's a serious relationship. Now that were are back together he says if he compromises, then I have to compromise. He is demanding I get a car and a nicer apartment! Now - I live in a big city and don't need a car and I get myself to and from his house just fine, and he never comes to my apartment!! Whats up with this? I told him I think it's shallow..

I want to get my husbands attention. He seems to want to hang out with his friends all the time. I would hang with them but he doesn't feel comfortable with me being around his friends. I was told by a few girlfriends to pretend like someone was interested in me and that I was interested in someone else. I was told that this would work. I am not one for playing games, but this seems like a good way of getting his attention. If you one could please HELP!!!

i was halfway through a sentence and hes in there like a rocket telling me how wrong i am. he didnt know how my sentence would finish but jumped in to correct what he very wrongly guessed i was saying. twice tonight hes done this. i fight back but whats the point? im p*ssed off with it

she chews through most restrictions, and heads for the refrigerator. Small chains do not work, nor does cable,,,she just knaws through. And, it is best not to get between her and the refrigerator, when she chews her way free,,, the growls are not a pretend warning! Will larges doses of tranquilizers help?,,or,,should I hide a rerigerator, for the family,, and let her guard her own territory? Is there really a leash law, on such a beast?
Is she trainable?,,,or do we keep scattering newspaper?

well short version, i was dating this woman, best thing in my 30+ years and finally felt true love for someone. Anyway an herex came abck in picture. They were dating for 3 yrs and ended badly. She wanted personal closure with it all. We seperated and they talked and whatnot. Anyway thats totally over with in both their eyes. Even when they were talking her and i hung out all the time ( he lived out of town) we didnt do anything while they were talking. Now that she has the closure( it was hurtful closure for her) and now she wants nothing to do with a man, any man, even me. But she still wants to hang out as much as I do i think. She says that when she is ready for love again that she wants me there for that. Meanwhile she adores and truly appreciates what i have to offer. Me so confused. All i really want is to hold her in my arms while we sit together watching tv and stuff. Sex would be great but i just want to hold her and touch her hand. How do i make her heart leap. When my son now 2 1/2 was 7 months old (the only time she was ever alone with him and it was for 10 minutes) she told me that she stuck her finger in his face and told him to go ahead and cry because Mommy & Daddy aren't here to save you and left bruises on his leg. She also lies to me, is very two faced and has repeatedly told me one thing and done the opposite. Now at any event that we are not present she tells people that I control her son and that it is my time to go and that her son will never choose me over her baby or no baby. I don't think that he should ever have to make that choice but I am refusing to step foot in either his mother or sisters house until I don't know when. I have a target on my back for protecting myself and would like your advice?

I'm only 8 weeks pregnant. I'm so tired and sick a lot. The house is messier than usual. I'm not working at the moment. I spend most of my time on here when BF isn't not home because it doesn't require any energy.
My boyfriend is so supportive of my new-found unproductivity (he's has a 6 y/o son so he's been through it before). I felt like crap this morning, and layed in bed for 3 hours after I woke up. He told me to take it easy today, "if you do too much it'll only make it worse." He'll do laundry and dishes behind my back. It makes me feel so guilty, but I so much appreciate it.
I don't believe any of my ex's would have treated me this good. I want to show him how much I appreciate him for his support.
We're kind of poor right now, so I can't go out and buy him anything. He'd appreciate something more creative much more anyways. I've tried to find some online printable greeting cards that I can personalize, but no luck.
Any suggestions?

I met this girl a couple of weeks ago that I really like and care about, and I believe she feels the same. We've been on 2 dates and have talked on the phone alot, but there's been problems because I've been very clingy to her. She mentioned before that she would not be exclusive with a guy for a couple of months, but I fear that we won't last that long. A couple of reasons is that 1) she earlier told me that she's been talking to another guy who she met online, 2) that I've been scaring her because of me clinging to her and 3) she initally didn't tell me that I was clinging to her and it was bothering her. I told her that I would stop and she still wants to see me this weekend, but that she wants to take it one day at a time. Is there hope left that she would want to still date me after this weekend or that after this weekend she would not to anymore?
