Don't lie. Tell the truth.

Don't lie! If its a NEW car the on-board computers will tell on you. The repair shop will plug into the Diagnostic Link Connector and the car will spit out volumes of info., stating there was nothing wrong with the car. It may also give you're speed when you took out the fence. Then he has a right to be mad. Wrecking a car is not good, but its not the end of the world. Cars can be fixed and re they can be replaced. If you apologize, and are truly sorry, what else can you do? Besides a wife has half the money and all the ....! Get my point?

If your first instinct is to lie your way out of this. You have issues. You are a grown woman.Stand up and face the music. You don't want to make up anything about the car having problems.Because it is too easy for him to disprove your lie.Tell the truth like an adult should.I did.Earlier this week I wrecked our week old jeep. And as soon as my hubby got home I showed him the damage.Luckily my jeep is built better than what I hit with it.Because I just have to take it in to be touched up.But more importantly than the car is your betrayal by trying to lie about it.Besides just remind him the car is legally half yours. So he can only be half has mad at you.

Never lie it will make the situation much worse if he finds out the truth. You really need to tell him the truth. You would feel horrible knowing you lied about it over the years. He can get mad but it was an accident!!!!! That's why you have insurance for accidents.

NO LIES. Tell the truth. If he loves the car more than you, it's better to find out now, don't you think?

Losing the car is not the end of the world. So the car is trashed. You still have each other. In time, you can always buy another car. If he can't see it that way, then maybe you are better off without him.

You should be his pride and joy, not the car. The car can be fixed and/or replaced and you cant be. It's a blessing that you are safe after all so don't lie, it was an accident and he should love you more than sheet metal and fiberglass.

Dear Tyanna,

Lie, and you'll be sorry. Tell him straight up what happened. He might be upset, but it won't last. Cars are not people and can be replaced. The good thing is if it's a new car, it has insurance. It can be fixed.

Good luck.

i know now that an ex girlfriend of mine crashed my car also, she then said that she had parked it up went into the shopping mall & when she came out that was how it looked, the car was obviously hit by a loony speeding in the car park, her parting shot months later when she threw my house key at me was to tell me that she had wrecked the car, was pretty mad but as time passed found myself laughing at how devious she had been, woman eh can't live with them & can't live without them.

I don't think that lying's really the best approach to anything in life.

Doesn't show respect for the person you're lying to. Isn't a responsible way to deal with your mistakes.

How about you just tell him what happened, apologize, try to fix it and try to learn from the experience?

Don't lie about it. Nothing good comes from lying.

Be honest. Did you do it on purpose? Of course not! So why would he be mad? That's what insurance is for!

Good Luck!

How about you don't lie? Its a really bad idea to lie to the person who you most likely vowed never to lie to.
