Today I told him I am under a lot of stress, and I dont want to continue this relationship.
We have been together for over 2 years, he is a lot older than me, I am 26. Our relationship is opposed by my parents, and none of my friends likes it, simply bcos of the age difference. I love him very much bcos he is the first one I had sex with, and he does have a lot of good values. Also he has stayed faithful during our 1.5 years apart, and he did lots of work trying to make our relationship work.
But I am worn out in this relationship, I have to go against my family, I have to move to a quiet small place bcos he doesnt want to live in a city anymore, and Im worried about my future when he gets old. I love him very much, thats why I kept it going for so long, but the more I love him, the more pain I feel. So today I brought up the idea of breaking up, I can feel he got hurt, I can feel he was very pissed off, he thought I could marry him, he said Im nuts.
I feel guilty, am I wrong?

I have no clue what to think about my wife now. Let me explain: I have 2 kids from my first marriage. She has 1 from a previous relationship. We got married and blended families. It’s been tough. Real tough. We have been fighting about having another child. I told her let’s wait a bit until everyone is settled and we get through a couple years of marriage. She always said “you still love your ex. Wife. You had kids with her but won’t with me”. That’s not the issue. The issue is being responsible for the children and our marriage first. Then we can discuss having another one. I wasn’t against it. Well she took matters into her own hand and quit taking her birth control. I didn’t know. She got pregnant. Now she’s saying I don’t want anymore kids. I want to end this pregnancy. What does that tell me after arguing all the time over this? I don’t know but I’m thinking one of 2 things: she either cheated and it’s not mine or she’s decided this marriage isn’t working out and she doesn’t want anything to do with me. She goes back and forth. She yells at me for not wanting one right now then a week later she would say “I’m not having a child with you”. Now that she’s pregnant I believe her stubbornness out weighed her logic and she’s figuring out I was right all along but she had to get her way. Now she understands that her way is not what she really wanted or she’s thinking about doing or has done something really stupid. What do you think?

from 2yrs till i ran away at 14. his son was my best child hood friend until he tried to get his dad to do something about it. my uncle just would allow us to be around each other until we were too old for him to stop us. when i ran away i was gone for 7 years but while i was gone i was still in contact with cousin and grandparents because they loved me. I am 25 years old; I married my GF when I was 16; don’t ask how I ended up with 8 kids. The love of my life pat away last year in a car accident & since then life is just “no words to explain it”.

I am not a benefit sponger or anything I am a marketing director so money is the last worry in my life. My kids are hard to handle and no babysitter wants to look after them. Matter fact I had a work colleague come over to my house and my youngest kid “asked her to suck his so called INVADER 99”; she obviously laughed but having 8 kids and being a single father + a job is not the easiest thing to do.

I don’t want them to go to boarding school because when they are around I can stop missing my wife. My options for working from home are very limited since I have to meet clients on a daily basis. Even if I look for another woman I am sure she will not give her life up to be a mother of 8 disasters with no life.

My stepdaughter got one of those "prepaid" cells for Christmas of 2005. Her mom was the big hero for getting her a cell that year. In the first month my stepdaughter put over $60 in the account and ate the minutes up quickly. Her mom refused to add to it for her.
My husband and I thought that was crazy, so we added her to our plan for $10 and she has been great about using only her alloted minutes. We found out that when they went on their family vacation this past spring break that her stepdad gave her cell number to his out of state family and they used the phone the entire vacation. When I received the bill, I scrutinized it and found that the ex had used over 140 minutes in one month. I started looking back through January and find she uses the phone a lot. When she takes it away from my Stepdaughter for restrictions, she uses it.
