Further to my question about homosexuality being a sin! This was one response: YES it was adam and eve not adam and steve. The answer to this must be - Adam and Eve had two sons so how were they able to produce offspring?

It is a very personal thing, and everyone is entitled to live their own lives. Some old cultures actively practised bisexuality, it is only modern day man who thinks it is a sin (and christianity of course). But the bible is based on human interpretation so who is to say it is correct... and as scientists say man came from apes, so what has adam and eve got to do with it (and I am a christian by the way). Homphobia was probably 'invented' for the purpose of male armies, so that they had all this pent up testosterone and aggression thru lack of sexual relief. who knows. in this day and age it is not relevant either.

I missed the first question you put out, but for the record.....Adam and Eve actually had a huge family of sons AND daughters. Their named children were Cain, Abel and Seth, but it also says that Adam and Eve became the parents of many sons and daughters, and that Cain would have taken one of his sisters to be his wife. Spare me the 'incest!' cries. If anybody was really that bothered about the truth, and why that arrangement was fine back then, they'd find out about it properly rather than asking around here.

Live and let live! No-one has the right to condemn anyone because of their sexual preference. Homosexuality may be called a sin in the Bible but aren't we supposed to love others without judgement too and to treat others as we would wish to be treated. I'm not a religious person but isn't this a contradiction? Each to their own I say, life's too short!

No it's not. Even if you don't understand homosexuality, and I certainly don't. It is each persons right to do what they want with their own bodies. If two men agree to have sex with each other that is their choice.

As for Adam and Eve. In breeding!! Which explains George Bush as well.

It is only people who are insecure about their own sexuality that fear other forms.

Love gets forgotten in this discussion, everyone assumes that gay men only seek sex, and that the love and sharing a life together plays no part in it!

I am not gay, but I have been fortunate enough to have gay friends who are tolerant of the ignorance I acquired by growing up in a homophobic society..

no it isn't right for other people to condemn a person's sexuality.but the bible speaks of gay marriages and sexuality. GALATIANS 5:19, LEVITICUS 18:22,ROMANS1:24-32. THERE WERE NO OTHER WOMEN IN THE WORLD WHEN CAIN AND ABEL PRODUCED OFFSPRING. THE ONLY EXPLAINATION TO THIS IS THEY MATED WITH THEIR MOTHER.

I think if you have time to worry about other people's sexuality you have no life of your own. People are too quick to stick their noses in and try and make others feel uncomfortable.
