Am I racist because I'm an African-American woman who's preferance is African-American men?

I've been reading a lot and it seems like someone who prefers to date within their race is looked at as ignorant and close minded. Why is that?

I'v known this girl for about 4-5 years now n were good friends. i'v always thought she was cute and sexy but i just seem more drawn to her latley. I dont know if its cause iv hit a dry spout (2 girls 4 times total in the past year) or if i like her. Should i just start wit the random hookups again or see if i can take this friendship to the next level?

With the birth of our first child my husband has ended a 3 year affair with his mistress. However it has been 5 months and she continues to send e-mails and air our dirty laundry on her my space page. Of course she does this all without using names, but everyone is painfully aware of who and what she is talking about in our social circles. And it is fuel for the gossip mongers. How can I get this to stop so we can get on with our lives. My husband says to ignore it but I can't take the public humiliation much longer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

My boyfriend of 2.5 years broke up with me around a month ago. So I'm just in the process of moving out of our place. We are on good terms and had a great relationship. Like he said, he wouldn't have changed a thing. He's just not ready for what I"m ready for and doesn't want to drag me along because he doesn't know if he'll ever be ready to make the "next step". Anyways, the thing is, I went to our place to pick up some things I had forgotten and I found porn dvd's. We never had porn in the house before this - when we moved into together he got rid of his magazines because he said that he didn't need them anymore because he has me. Now that we are broken up, I find this and I'm rather bothered by it. Why is he now watching this...? We had a very active and great sex life so I don't understand how I can be so quickly replaced with this...? Any insight would be great. I can't get it off my mind.

I am separated from my husband and it is breaking my heart right now that we are having so much trouble trying to get things working again.....he is the love of my life - and I his - yet we're on the verge of a divorce. I recently got married, and there are 2 couples who were at the wedding and gave us cards, but I have no gifts matched up with them. (Someone else was writing the gifts down, and I just can't remember) We have one gift that had no name on it. That means, 1 of the 2 couples gave it to us, and the other 1 didn't give a gift at all, or possibly they gave a cash gift that was missed. How do I find out politely? I don't just want to give a generic "thanks for the gift," but I also don't want to just thank themn for coming to the wedding if they indeed gave a gift. Ahh!

I am in totally in love with my boyfriend and i know he loves me too.He isn't afraid to tell the world how much he loves me,or to show it.However,we split for a weeks recently after a fight.During this time,my best friend did her best to help both of us out,and get us back together.She helped alot and here we are,a great couple again!But at the same time,our friends have told me they are a bit too friendly.I think it might just be a close friend/sister/brother thing though.Today,when this guy was messing her about,my boyfriend got mad and said the guy didn't deserve her.And she grabbed his hand to stop him from doing something,and they had a silly fight.I know i'm being stupid,because i know how much they both love me and would never do anything.Do you get this protective over a friend/sister figure,yes?
