I am a 21-year-old woman with feelings for my college professor. He is also young and single. We have been out for coffee, with my sister included, and have a pretty good friendship. Last semester he taught me a class for free.

I am no longer his student (and will no longer be attending this college), and tomorrow I plan on telling him I am attracted to him, even if he doesn't feel the same way. And no, I will not use the word "love", it's too strong and would scare someone away.

What would you do? Any advice? Yes, I am emotionally prepared for a let-down.

I got married in may of 2005 to my high school love. Everything was fine. She told me she was talking to another guy but nothing happened. I believed her. Then she became pregnant and My son came which I love 2 death. I bought a house and had the perfect family which I wanted. Them I found out she cheated on me and broke my heart. I also found out before I got married that she did have sex with that guy and the courts asked for a paternity test but I denied it bec that is my boy I know it. But did I make a mistake marrying her?

8 months ago I left my husband of almost nine years. It was a verbally and controlling marriage that became physically violent. I had left and then when I tried to set down and talk to him about the divorce he attacked me and physically harmed me. I managed to get him to stop but the next day I left and went to my parents home with our two children. I also went to the police and they arrested him the next day on two felony d counts and a misdemeanor of domestic battery and assault. A few months later he plead guilty to the assault and they dropped the other charges. All he got was a year of probation. He still has my children every other weekend , only when he wants to actually see them. He still gets to travel every week out of the country and state which he says is for business. He went to the Virgin Islands for Christmas and the Super bowel. He still tries to manipulate me on the phone by saying that I am a money hungry *itch. He blames me for all the attorney fees. He keeps trying to get me to settle on things regarding the divorce without my attorney being involved because he says I am taking away money from our children with the fees. But it does not stop him from vacationing. I am living in a two bedroom apartment and he is living in our 42 hundred sq. ft. home. My son has special needs and needs full time care. I can not go get a full time job yet until I find someone who can take care of him. My ex said he will not pay for this and I should have thought about that. He new thing now is that he is moving across the country and will never see the children again. Our daughter is 3 and my son is 7 years old. He is trying to make my life hell. He says once the divorce is final that he will have very minimal contact with us. How do I explain this to my daughter. I don’t want to have her feel this rejection from her father. He has a narcissistic personality and says that because he has to talk to me he can’t deal with the kids. This is the person who tried to harm me in front of her. My son has autism and will still be hurt but does not understand things like my daughter. What can I do to protect her feelings? I love my children and don’t know how my ex could live with out them. Please help! I never speak badly about my ex around my children. But I won’t make excuses for him either and enable this behavior.

A couple of weeks ago my mother in law said to my stepkids that my husband needs to watch my spending and should put a stop to it and they told me. I was mad and I told her not to come back to my house. 3 years ago when I met my hubby she accused me of stealing money off my hubbys sister and his sister found it and she apligized. My hubby has 1 son and 2 stepdaughters from a previous marriage and when we talked about having a baby she said it would be best if my husband dosent have any more kids. she said she dosent want to be a grandma again. I have a 2 month old. She apoligized for saying the money issues. She said the kids were lying. There 15, 12 & 8 and they all made up the same story. I forgot it and 2 days later I was talking about going back to school in front of his family and she said You'll never do it. Its been a while since you finished high school. My husband yelled at her and she said we'll 12 months is a long time What is she gonna do take care of the baby and stay up

Here's my life story, I want to hear some of ya'lls.

It all started when I was about 5 or so, my parents began selling drugs and our neighbors reported them and we werer kicked out of our house. From there we moved to NJ where my parents went nuts and split and my mom took my sister and I and put us on a train and ran to NC and told daddy he wasnt' allowed to come with us. After that we moved from town to town school to school trying to settle, when we finally did she met our neighbor-John, he was bad, He got her heavily into the drugs and conned my mom into keeping my sis and I from our dady-we werent allowed to see him anymore (I was 8), John started drinking and stole my moms money causing us to move again (schools too) and mom for some reason decided to let him live with us. Things got worse, SS tried to take us away, John tried to kill mom-if it werent for sis and I she'd be dead-we caught him trying to strangle her over the kit sink. And there is more-much more.out of letter

Ok, this guy and I have been wanting to move in together for a while now. All total, we have known each other for 2 yrs. But my mom thinks living together without a legal marriage is a sin. I dont. I think all you need is a commitment, and a plan. His mom is really excited for us, though. She even told me she loved me, because i'm the only girl that has ever truly cared about her son. Just this past week, though, he's been missing. Not even his mom or grandparents or any of his friends have heard from him, including me. His mom allowed me to give the police the address I had of where he was supposed to be. They went and talked to his dad, and all he would tell them was "he's ok". 15 mins later, his stepmom calls and curses at me. Calls me a psycho. Threatens me. Says i'm obsessed. There's still been no word from him. But he had promised me in the past, that if i hear no different, to assume that everything he's told me is still true. And that we would always try to work out problems.

My fiance and I are going to Colorado in two months for our honeymoon and my grandparents are paying.

It's been over four months since my break up, and I'm a mess... I am depressed, I don't enjoy the things I used to...I don't want to go to work. All I want to do is sleep...

The worst part is I started seeing someone recently, an ex... He really cares about me, and unfortunetly I can't be there is this relationship as much as I'd like. I've lost all of my sex drive, and I feel I'm being unfair to my current beau.

child of his own with me (I have two child). He can't even be there for my kids, or help with them, or take any responsibility with them. I hate to say it but he's not even a good step-father. He is never really there for them. I know it would be different when it is his own, but still is who he is with children? Should I another child?
