Why do some people claim to be your friends, claim they care, keep in contact with you daily, and then one day they disappear with no warning what so ever, and no reason, no contact again???????I find that is so weird......

What you wrote, happened with me, either. I come from Germany and I was a "Guest Student" in the US for over two months. I found a lot of friends: Teens, Adult people, teachers and so on. But as I returned back to Germany and contact them with E-Mail, the majority did not reply me back. I asked myself how could it happen that the majority did not answer me back? If you do not know what they are thinking so you will not find the answer. Every people have a friendly side; however they also have a site with shadow. Real friends are if they help each other, never lose the contact and being honest together.

because that's what happens sometimes. You may come to a point in your life when you just disappear too.

People grow apart, that's life, but if they don't even try to stay in touch with you, that's only because they were not really good friends.

maybe they had it happen to them before &just feel that they need to do it to someone else? attempt to continue talking to them. (like in the notebook, he wrote everyday for a year.) then if that doesn't work, i'd just give up.
