she's basically saying no...but maybe just because she wants to get to know you better...just be her friend and you never know things can work out in the end

She's being nice and telling you no...I'm guessing you're not her type.
Sounds like you've got a new friend, though. Nothing says you can't go to dinner and a movie a couple of times a month...just not as g/f and b/f.

Usually it means that she's being nice. But in any event, be her friend and take advantage of it. Let her learn what type of guy you are without harrasing her. Ask her out to a movie some time or find out what she likes to do or go and invite her. Without being pushy make her have interest in you. GOOD LUCK

It depends...may be the girl needs time to know you more and then she will decide whether to continue a relation with you or to dump you. And also it may happen that she does not like you at all at the first meeting but since you are asking her out...she's decent enough to tell that so that your feelings are not hurt and its an indirect way of saying "no". That you have to find out with time. good luck!

It all depends on the individual...Some might just want to be friends, were as other are trying to be nice about saying no. Me personally, if I say I want to be friends, but if things should lead else where so be it. But I am not forcing anything

She is just being nice. If you are able to just be her friend, then it should work out just fine. Don't creep her out though. Maintain your distance and treat her like a friend and nothing more.

ehh...maybe she thinks you're creepy and she doesnt want to reject you OUTRIGHT because you may climb into her window at night. btw, i never say yes to a guy who asks me out the second i meet him! i atleast want to know if i like him before i waste my time. it's also a turn off to me when a guy advances quickly. it seems really desperate. maybe you should try to talk to her and get to know more about her and have her learn more about you before you put her in a vulnerable position. don't ask her out again and don't harrass her and pester her. if she says "hey lets hang out" then there's your queue...if not, i dont think it's gonna happen.

That line is always short for "I don't like you in that way" and she is trying to save your ego. Do yourself a favor and find a hot girl that already knows that you're a catch. I'm sure there are plenty out there. :)

More then likely she's just being nice, but it might just work out, maybe she needs more time....

Stop asking girls out when you first meet. Unless both parties are drunk, then feel free.
There's nothing to work out, they're blowing you off.
