i dated a 26 year old with 2 kids and a divorce. it took me a while being im 20 and needed to get used to it. i fell inlove with the 2 girls and everything was fine. i guess its just about the person you meet and if they are willing to try or not...

The kids part shouldn't scare guys away as long as he is accepted by all parties concerned. I dated a woman with three kids, and her kids never completely accepted my presence, still being in contact with their biological father (who knew me and gave me his blessing to be with them). Since her priorities lay with her children, I started to become an outsider, and the relationship ended shortly thereafter.

of course, if a guy can't face that his girlfriend had a life before him, then move on to someone that can handle it. I could handle it , it was the woman that couldn't handle my past life. But if given the chance, I would gladly step up and do it again.

i would have said no 12 months ago now i would have to say i would consider it --- it depends on the personality of the lady -- ive had my family and now have grandchildren (so the age may be a problem for you) but to be with a special lady the children would not be any sort of obstacle or problem
