As others have said, there is no such thing as a perfect marriage... HOWEVER you can have the best marriage possible... The BIG secret is that its a two person job and both people have to give 100% to each other... Its not 50/50 like some people like to say. I've been married for 7 years now and we rarely ever even argue, we're the best of friends. We have learned together that you have to give to each other and allow space as well. We're all individuals who need our space but to be showered w/love and affection. Love her completely! You cant make the "perfect" marriage alone. It takes three --> You, her, and God! :)
God Bless

Well, wanting a perfect marriage is like wanting to live in a perfect world; it ain't gonna happen. The problem is people; they ain't perfect.
But you can have a successful and happy marriage. It takes a LOT of work. If you don't work at your marriage, your job, your home, kids, or any aspect of your life, entropy will take over. You must learn to comunicate effectively. I suggest taking a class or two on marriage and psychology, and take your mate with you.

Marriage is hard work, commitment, communication, trust, faithfulness, laughter, friendship, and a life time of ups and downs. So if the two of you work together on having "da perfect" marriage. Then that's what you will have. Marriage is what you make of it, always remember that.

Live in a dream world. That's the only way to have one. :)
However, though it may not be "perfect", if you marry your best friend, both of you consider your partner's needs and desires BEFORE your own, remain faithful, don't take each other for granted, then, it'll be as close to perfect as it gets.
There will be arguments, hurt feelings, and anger along the way, but if you stick it out, after 40 or 50 years, you will have it to laugh over, sitting on your porch holding hands looking at all of the young whipper-snappers that still don't have a clue.
ahhh, notice I didn't put money in there?? If you have all of the other things, the money will just be stuff.
Good luck with it.

There are no perfect marriages because there are no perfect people. There are excellant marriages made up of 2, imperfect people who work at living together and making it work.If that is not happeing before wedding it most likely won't happen after.

Yes I do...accept the fact that there is NO SUCH THING as a perfect marriage. There are good times and there are bad times... AND, you cannot be everything to another person...let them take what they need from you, and get other things from other places or people...that is a healthy marriage, but not a perfect one. good luck

nothing in this world is perfect but,if you want a good marriage, keep the lines of communication open at all times, always show respect- no matter what, know how to listen and compromise. this goes for both the husband and wife.

yeah don't get to secure in thinking it's perfect, my perfect marriage was very surprisingly ended when my husband hooked up with a ghetto wh**e, now we're knee deep in medical bills and lies, lies, and more lies. I was too secure, i didn't gripe, never denied him anything, and gave him everything he wanted or needed. He had no reason, and I saw this girl, this was not a grass is greener situation.
