...of her bringing male-friend along when she was supposed to be to visiting and spending time with me in the dating sense (was even told that she'd be introduced to parents).
Her line was: "her male-friend had never been to this area and wanted to come as a tourist for sightseeing..."

We live in a predominantly white area with no black people in our small town of 600. The county probably has 4 black people in it and 2 of them are foster children.
I dont feel like I am prejudiced, but I would prefer if she would date in her own race. I know many black people feel the same.
There is not a shortage of white males in the area. She has managed to get this one off the internet and says he is a friend of her brothers girlfriend.
She has really gone overboard this time. I heard her telling her date on the phone that I called him a "****** which is not the truth. She just out and out lied. If I ever decided to say something so hideous, I would not pass it along to my date. She is so stupid one of these days someone is going to show their as.. and put her in her place for being such a big mouth. She is 19 and extremely immature. How am I supposed to react? She always does things to try and make me look like crap and piss me off.

Ok so my boyfriend and I were tickling eachother and somehow it led to being more rough. I will admit I can get rough easily but still have a playful smile on my face but when my boyfriend got rough tonight he had this "crazed" laugh. He only does this laugh when he knows it is related to somthing evil. I know this sounds weird but it is NOT his normal laugh. Well anyways we stopped playing around because I felt the tears coming on so I left the room to go to the bathroom. When I came back in he saw my face and came over to hold me, comfort me. Well I was still weirded out because how he was playing with me just minutes before and told him to not touch me. After I said that he was silent for a long time and he never said anything to me until I asked if he was going to say anything at all. All he said was "you told me not to touch you". I feel horrible now because he feels horrible that I told him that. I only felt that way at that minute. What should I do. Srs answers only.

I am 16 and i have really strict parents. They not allowing me to date and i can't cope. I do have someone who i care about very much and i have known for 8 months and we love each other dearly. But my parents think dating a guy is a NO NO. When i told my parents i liked a boy they almost had a heart attack but they said they will allow me to hold hands when i turn 18! They cant stop me for likeing boys its just natural. He parents like me a lot. But theres no way i can let him my own parents because they dont care if my boyfreind is a good guy or not. I just can't date. The only thing i can do is go where my brother goes and my bro is 18 and can't be around his little sister all the time! He even thinks it crazy because he knows how responible I am and I have good morals. I have three questions. What can I do!!? and is there anyone else who isnt allowed to date till 18? And how are you coping?

I'm having guy issues right now. I'm convinced that since I can laugh at myself and know how to have fun, guys see me as "just one of the guys," which is fine, except I'm pretty sure guys don't want to date girls like that. Is it dumb to think guys don't take me seriously? (it's not like I'm NEVER serious. I know when to be and when it's ok not to be..) Do you guys prefer girls like me, or girls that are more serious? Thank you!

Oh gosh I'm really in rough shape now. My wife and I just finished a heated argument over our finances. We sort of lost control and I ended up slugging her in the face. She has a really bad nose bleed and wont get out of the bathroom.

What can i do to make it up to her?

My boyfriend and I had been dating for a year and a half when he abruptly broke up with me two weeks ago. I received an invitation to his sister's wedding shower a couple days before we broke up. I have already RSVPed that I will not be able to attend. She and I were not close, but were friendly. Should I send a gift even though I am not attending, as etiquette usually dictates, or not?

I don't know how to handle this one. He was the only man I've ever known to show me true love..the only man in my life who has ever made me feel important. He was my best friend since high school, and now I've lost him for good. We've been divorced for almost seven years, and I'm still not over him. He was the one I would go to whenever I felt sad and alone in this world. His compassion and love for me always made me feel special. Now that it's been confirmed (I found out today) that he is in fact very much in love with someone else and getting married very soon, I know that I will never see him again. I've tried contacting him several times and he hasn't returned my calls. Our mutual friend tells me that's because he doesn't want to hurt me any further. He doesn't feel it's a good idea to keep contact. I know I'll never see him again. I'll never be the same without his love...without hearing him laugh...without him seeing my beauty. I feel as though I've lost myself. Please help.

your boyfriend of 2 years talks to an old friend that he has said that he was once attracted to? Not to mention that she is a model, he even once admitted to me when he was intoxicated that he had had a sex dream about her, later admitting that he did not even remember telling me about? Later I told him to stop talking to her, he told me that he called her and said that because of the situation (me) that he wants to cut off all ties. He did do this on his own accord. Are men capable of really cutting off all ties(at least what he told me), Although they only talked once a month....I just do not feel comfprtable with the whole thing.

I asked him, are you sure you want me as a girlfriend since we have more differences than similarities? he then tells me why would you doubt the relationship & even when we do fight and work things out either we could break up or we could get married-I don't know about anyonelse but if you know that theres more differences than similarities, why would you go on with that person? that to me is just wasting time and emotions..& I'm not sure if I should give this guy a chance, I'm 21 he's 23, he's got a lot of things I want in a guy except one thing.Emotionally wise I am more of the guy compared to him, meaning I am so blunt that at times I know he's upset and he'll even ask me to change my choice of words.(which happened tonite) He also thinks that I don't care for him but he has no idea, just because I don't get jealous like most girls or call him like most girls. But I wish he'd realize maybe that's what makes me different from his other chicks so do I leave him now while I can or try?

okay so here's the story. My husbands ex has a kid, he was with her when she was pregnant. They stayed together for about a year and a half after the kid was born. Then they split and we got together and had a kid together. I also had a kid with my ex. So this kid stays with it's grandparents and the mother goes out and partys all the time. My husband goes and picks the kid up every weekend. So him and his ex "hates" each other, but they still talk on the phone, and it's not about her kid. She calls and asks him stuff like can u fix my car? Do you need some boots? Telling him stuff like I need a big piece of WOOD. I've asked him to stop talking to her, cuz I'm not going to put up with this, But she still calls and he doesn't say anything, cuz he's afraid that she wont let him see the kid anymore. I don't know what to do, I love him so much but it makes me mad that they still talk. It's seriously making me sick, I've been to the hospital 2x cuz of panic attacks

Mean Mums
Someday when my children are old enough to understand the logic that motivates a parent, I will tell them, as my Mean Mum told me:
I loved you enough... to ask where you were going, with whom, and what time you would be home.
I loved you enough to be silent and let you dicover that your new best friend was a creep.
I loved you wnough to stand over you for two hours whilst you cleaned your room, a job that should have taken 15 minutes.
I loved you enough to let you see my anger, disappointment, and tears in eyes, Children must learn that their parents aren't perfect.
I loved you enough to let you assume the responsibility for your actions even when the penalties were so harsh that they almost broke my heart.
But most of all, I loved you enough to say NO when I knew you would hate me for it. Those were the most difficult battles of all. I'm glad I won them, because in the end you won, too.
And someday when your children are old enough to understand the logice that motivates parents you will tell them.

I'm really good friends with this guy (who just happens to be in love with me) and his total biotch of a girlfriend just broke up with him slept with a different guy the same night she broke with him and is now in a relationship with the other guy after only 3 days. Yeah, I know harsh and add onto that that she played all sorts of mind games with him and basically just treated him like crap. I don't think very highly of her, but I think very highly of him and I'm kind of excited that he wants to start things up with me soon. The only thing is I'm worried he's not really ready for another relationship. You can tell it bothers him and I just want to know 1) Do guys get over relationships that quickly (also keep in mind that he's wanted to break up with her for awhile)? 2) Should I have an awkward conversation where I tell him to take his time and make sure he's okay? 3)And other advice is helpful. Guys, I'd really like some help here, but if a gal has some good advice, then cool.

I'm planning of leaving my 14 year marriage...but when?? I am a silent partner in the business, and don't do too much, (Its more for tax reasons) We still have a mortage and an investment (very run down) property we were going to put units on. This would help us both financially (possibly clear morgage). Should I tell him I want out now, our wait till after the units are built, have a part time job, and can afford a better place for me and the 3 kids
