I have been dating My Girlfriend for 2.5 years I found out 6 months ago she has been going out with her ex-boyfriend 3 different occasions, Behind my back, To the Movies, Concerts, and to listen to Music. 3 occasions I am certain about there could be more.

She says that she is only friends with her ex-boyfriend; And is only in love with me, And wants to be with me.

I have taken her on several Vacations and Cruises, And done several major home improvement projects on her home over the past 2.5 years

My Question

Is this normal behavior for her to still see her ex-boyfriend?

And should this behavior be tolerated? Please Give Me Your Opinion and Advice. Thank You.

So many people say that they had their first boyfriend in elementary school but they didn't have their first "real" boyfriend until high school. What is the difference? and what is the difference between dating someone and having a boyfriend? Because I know so many people who are 14 that say " I have had 4 boyfriends but I have never went out anywhere with a guy." How could that be?

I would like the opportunity to learn about different people and where they live etc. I think it is wonderful experience to see peoples' countries/islands from their eyes.

Me and flatmate/boyfriend split up 2 days ago (he dumped me!). I pretended to be ok with it. Today i sent a text to a friends telling her that he dumped me and I was devastated but of-course i accidently sent it to ex-boyfriend. After i stopped banging my head against the wall I sent him another text expalining that the previous text hadn't been for him and that obviously he already knew that he'd dumped me. His reply was 'X'. Just that nothing else. What the hell is that? A pity kiss? Please explain. Also how shall I act when he comes home later?

really for? Is it honestly about the dude that your with, or is that for other women to look at and know that he's taken? I've heard different opinions on that and I'm just curious, because all that back scratching and neck biting isn't really necessary, or is it?

I've worked with this guy for about 3 years. He's been flirting with me on and off. So I finally took him up on his offer and we went out for drinks. He said he had a bad experience in the past and that he doesn't date girls from work. After he said that, we've made out a few times. And we've had sex a few times. I'm confused. I've recently found out that he is quite a bit older than me, is that why he's so skeptical of me?? Help me please!! I really like him, but how do I get him to open up and to trust me??

Because I'm the blacksheep in my family, I constantly feel the need to prove to my family that I'm capable of everything they are. Sometimes I feel that this strange obsession controls major decisions of my life, for example, I recently got into 3 different schools, and I wanted to go to Andover in reality, but knowing that Exeter had a reputation as a stricter school, I chose it so that I can "prove myself" to my family.
Should I continue to let this force motivate me?

The Situation:
I live in a student house with 3 girls and 4 boys (myself being the 4th girl). Most of us come from the same town, however I am the oldest. I am trying to become close friends with one of the girls in my house (Cathy*). Yesterday I found out that Cathy's boyfriend (who lives in our hometown) has cheated on her. I didn't see it, but everybody I live with knows (except Cathy). Should I tell her?

Pro's:
If I tell her it may strengthen our friendship
I was grateful when I was told about my ex's cheating

Con's:
If it comes out where I heard from she'll be upset with that girl who will in turn be upset with me.
Cathy also knows the other girl in her boyfriend's life and this girl visits our house regularly.
If it comes out that I told Cathy no-one will trust me with the gossip anymore.
I didn't see the cheating happen, just heard of it (but I'm 85% sure it's true - judging from those involved).

If you think I should tell her - How should I go about it?

I have been married for 8 years, have a 6 year old daughter and have with with my man for 10 years all together. He had a 6 month affair with a 16 year old about 4 years ago, he was 33 at the time. The other girl ended it, he didn't. He was planning on leaving me and taking our daughter away to another country with this girl. He still speaks to her in the street and still tells me about it!
Problem is, my man now constantly accuses me of cheating with his ex-mate, something I would never dream of doing. He has banned me from speaking to this friend, not even allowed to wave to him when we pass in the car. Me and this friend have done nothing wrong, just speak as friends. My man doesnt trust me and even suggests that I encourage people by the way I speak to them!
Im almost 30 and I hate the fact that my man is dictating my life to me and controlling everything I do. He phones me every hour at home to check that Im there and not gone to this friends house.
What can I do?!

end a relationship? me and my bf have been together for 4 yrs and living together most of that time. recently he got his licence back and has been leaving around 8pm and not calling or showing up until 4-6 am. it's not like once a week, no, it's every single day now. in fact now it's running 5 nights strait. he didn't even call me on easter. he got back into town on sunday night and just went out. i think he may be cheating, he has absolutly no excuse or even tried to lie about were he's going. i even stopped by a few of his hangouts looking for his car but he's always MIA! he says i'm over-reacting but i just can't be with a guy that obviously has no interest in being with me. but my question is, how do i tell him it's over? I'm so used to this that i don't know what to do..i mean even being with him, i'm not because he's always gone. i find myself alone all the time. how do you fill that void? what are somethings to keep me busy so i can have an easier time getting over him?
