I've worked with this guy for about 3 years. He's been flirting with me on and off. So I finally took him up on his offer and we went out for drinks. He said he had a bad experience in the past and that he doesn't date girls from work. After he said that, we've made out a few times. And we've had sex a few times. I'm confused. I've recently found out that he is quite a bit older than me, is that why he's so skeptical of me?? Help me please!! I really like him, but how do I get him to open up and to trust me??

Yeah they're right, it sounds like he is just using you. He said he doesn't "date" girls from work, but it's ok to have sex with them? Obviously, he wants the sex, but won't be a boyfriend. It's called wanting a f*ck buddy. Give it up honey, he will never respect you and open up to you the way you want him to.

I think he's genuine.... just talk to him and show him that you aren't playing him or using him - lots of men have had bad experiences and are unwilling to open up.

Just be yourself and do stuff together socially, if you care about him, and you show it by taking an interest in his life, he will notice that.
