I teel him that I don't approve of it, and that because it can get us both in a lot of trouble. Am I worrying for nothing or do I have a right to. Also, my truck is a business truck, with business insurance.

Now he tells me that he won't alow it, just so I get my way. He says that I won't be happy unless I always get my way. Is this his way of blowing it off? I also think that he is still going to continue to let it happen, he is just going to be more sneaky about it. He has lied to me in the past and the recent one was just last weekend. He tells me everytime that I need to trust him and that he is working on changing.I try to tell him that everytime he lies to me or hides something no matter how little it is that it puts me back to square one. He says he can take the fact that I question him.

I agree with the other post about the open container law. He could get in a lot of trouble and bring you down with him. It could cause problems with your insurance and mess things up the business. Please show your husband these posts if he doesn't believe you. You're not crazy to worry about this. Good luck.

Open container, anyone drinking while a car in motion can get the driver in trouble.

My husband was pulled over one time hadn't drank that day they decided to search his car and underneath the passenger seat was a bone dry open beer can from months before. He got a ticket for $500.

I think most states have open container laws. It doesn't even matter if they guy is drinking, just having the open container is enough to get you in trouble.

If police find an open bottle of liquor it's off to jail and you have a record. Also insurance problems.

If you want the job and company truck, you best keep the drinking friend out!

if you get pulled over and that person is drinking in the car you can get in trouble for it because it's an open container. i would not let him drink alcohol in your car.

your husband's a liar... you should use your better judgment and ban him and his friend from your car before you get pulled in, and thrown in jail for having an open container of liquor.
