I work at walmart and today at work someone "proposed" to their girl over the intercome. When she came to the register she was embarrised so was kinda yelling at him because she was at work but she said yes and he lifted her in the air. the weird thing was though that he never got down on one knee and there was no ring either. am i wrong to think that without a ring its not a true engagement?

I asked this question because my husband and I disagree on what being "attracted" to someone, really means. My husband say's, in his opinion, 8 out of 10 time's, they're saying they want to sleep with you, I asked him where did he get his fact's from, but no answer. I don't agree with his weird thinking, I think it just means that there is something about you, that they are drawn to and it doesn't necessarily have to be based on good looks.

I'm a girl, so I'm gonna ask this with the girl being younger and the guy being older.

I looked up the age of consent in Florida and it says that to engage in sexual activity with a guy under 24 you have to be atleast 16. But, if the guy is 24 or older you have to be 18. so I was wondering, what if the girl is 16 and the guy is over 24 can they still just control themselves and cuddle, kiss, and maybe even date until she turns 18 and they can do all the other "fun stuff"? Do they have to get parental consent?

When I read it it was so confusing.

Every where I go, I am always meeting men who either look like bumbs, too damn ugly or who are thugs with a "baseball team" full of kids. The other men I'm always meeting are mostly unemployed. WTF!! I KNOW I am not ugly. I'm single with no kids and have a good job. I feel like I have alot to offer a man. I go lots of places where I was told the single men are such as Lowe's, the freezer department in grocery stores, church and clubs. But I seen to attract the opposite of my standards.WTF!! HELP!! OK i have been asked my phone number once, but he said it was because his friend dared him to get *a* girls phone number, so I gave it to him. I was caught off guard and I didn't know what to do. anyway i was teased about giving it to him. I don't want to give out my phone number again, but maybe my email. Lately ive been feeling like my boyfriend doesnt respect me. He has just been doing everything he wants and my word doesnt count for anything any more. He is on a trip with friends now, which every one in his family was against. Now he's partying, which he said he wouldnt. I got really upset, so when i call he hangs up on me or doesnt pick up. Then he tells me him and his friends are sleeping over at this girls house (as she knows one of his friends from before) i freak out but he just hangs up in the middle of our conversation and lets me call and call but doesnt pick up. Even though he told me I have nothing to worry about, am i right to feel worried and to feel disrespected by him? What should I do?

I've been with my hunny for 6 years, married to him for 16 months. I'm almost 21 and I cheated on him twice before we got married (I was 15 and 16 at the time, young and dumb) we fought for a long time but he didn't leave me, and after a while he forgave me. We were supposed to get married 4 months before we actually did because I got cold feet and left him. I met another guy (who'd gotten out of prison 3 days earlier) and we hooked up for a few weeks. I broke up with him because he started holding people up at gun point, and got back together with my man. I realized what I was missing. I know I messed up before, and I'm not the same person I was.He claims to have forgiven me but rubs my face in my mistakes every chance he gets. It's even affected our sex life,meaning he doesn't want any. I know I hurt him but do I deserve to be punished for the rest of my life? I'm only saying anything because this neglect has made me think about other men, who could treat me better.

I had an erotic dream about my boss and I last night. I felt very confused when I woke up this morning because I have never thoght about him any way sexually. He is a nice boss, a goofy funny kind of guy with big belly, he never makes any move on anyone in our office and treat us professionally. as far as which marriage is legal and which is null and void. Can she be criminally charged for bigamy? Also what are the inheritance consequences if she has a child with second husband, the second husband dies, before discovery of bigamy by wife, i.e, she marries A, then she marries B unknown to B or his family that she is already married, has child C with B, then B dies, after B's death it is discovered that she is already married to A. I ended my engagement about a year ago and I still talk to him every so often to see how he is doing. I have moved on with my life and I'm in a great relationship with my boyfriend. I haven't spoken to my ex in a few months because everytime I try to talk to him he gets upset and begs me to come back to him, I want to continue being friends but I know that it was going to be hard when I started to talk to him way after the engagement was over. I couldn't talk to him then and even now trying to be friends with him is difficult. I wish he would except that its over and that nothing will change my answer. I had to end it, I couldn't take his abuse anymore...no woman deserves to have their future husband's hands around their neck.

I used to talk to this boy for like 6 months and when we actually got together, my parents found out that he had a criminal record and they made me stop talking to him. The thing is the criminal record was in the past and he hadnt done anything bad since then. I was in love with this boy and he made me happy and they took all of that away. I want to talk to him behind their backs but i dont know what to do. I've tried talking to them, but they have it set in their minds that he's just some thug. They even tried to find bad info on him, which they never showed me any proof of, so i dnt believe that. What should I do?

I was best friends with a boy last school year and the beginning of this one. We had so much in common and could talk for hours upon end. Then came homecoming. I went with him and I thought we were having a good time, but he hasn't talked to me since. I gave him some chocolate on Valentine's Day and he just said something like "Yeah" and walked away like he didn't want to see me. I cried the whole day. We were such good friends! in the past year i have lost my mother and grandmother to breast cancer. my best friend in the whole world to a car crash. and my brother to war. i cant deal with it. i dont know what to do and we have no money to get me help. im about to do the extreme. i need some encouraging words. you alone could save wats left of my life. please. im not making this up and i could care less if you dont care. its like im all alone in this world and its not the best feeling. im only 13 and i think thats really young to b going throught what i am. i miss my mom the most. i could always talk to her. and now shes gone. you dont know what you have untill its gone. thats beyond the truth.

My husband of 6 months admits he's seeing someone on the side (they're not having sex because she doesn't put out, period, since having three kids), and he knows it hurts me. He says he doesn't want to end it with her because he doesn't want to hurt her, and I could ALMOST respect that, except he won't answer the phone if I call, can't stand to be close to me, anything. Yesterday I set up my webcam and watched what was going on between them while I was at work. (Yes, I know that's low, but I didn't believe what he was telling me, and I was right!) He swears to me he treats us the same, but he doesn't. He's all cuddled up with her and kissing on her (and much more, from the looks of it), and never spends any time with me. I want to make it work, but he knows I'm not good at following through when I tell him he has to leave or end it with her. How do I finally put my foot down and make him make (and stick to) a decision instead of hiding it better?

People always talk about women playing games but do you men out there do it too? If so what do you do? I think the only reason women play games is because they think men are or ultimately to get love and attention etc. I dont think we're as bad as we're made out to be! Maybe we are, any thoughts?!
