Age aint nothing but a number if you really enjoy spending time with him aint nuthing wrong with that
and if you have to fight for your rite to Love go on ahead and do so we are in the land of the free and in a in a few months it wont matter because youll be 18 the big 1 8 so no one can tell you its wrong because youll be at large and in charge and if you really love this person go for the ring go get yo man there is nothing at all wrong with a 17 year old hanging with a 23 year old and believe me people will talk about it but wethter you choose to listen or not is your decision and be prepared u need to know him inside and out because you are about to go through war this relationship you have is about to get sabtoged like never before so make sure you guys have trust wich is the key to any close relationship

it's not weird for a 17 year old girl to want to hang with a 23 year old guy. It's kinda creepy for a 23 year old guy to want to hang with a 17 year old girl.

I totally agree with Kevman. I met my ex-husband when I was 16 and he was 25. He was already divorced with two kids. I didn't think it was weird to be with a 25 year old. Maybe I was even impressed by it, but his family's jaws collectively dropped when they met me. Now that I am a mother, I see it differently and wonder why an older guy would want to hang out with such a young girl. I think probably women his own age don't want anything to do with him for some reason and that's a definite red flag.

A 6 yr age difference at 17 is quite a span however if you 2 click than age should not be an issue.

The guy is a perverd! Get out of there he is not your daddy! You will be his sex toy and you are to young to understand....Most girls who have dated older at that age know the end result and you will get hurt or pregnant and left alone...No matter what he makes you believe....None of that girls are more mature crap! He is creepy and you will get caught....Wait till you are 30 and go out with a 35is or 40 and then go out with a 50ish when life offers experience and people date and have relationships after they grow and know what qualities are good to build respect and mutual feelings.

Um, I think it depends. If your family knows the dude, then it's OK. If your having like a "Too close relation ship" then I dont really like that idea. But you know it's your choice. Maybe it's OK if you two have been friends for like a LONG time. but if you just met him, then again I dont think it's a good idea.

hang out or date you gotta make yourself more clear? to hang out I guess is okay.. to date not so sure? Why does she want to hang out with someone that much older than her? just gotta ask yourself that question yourself and see what YOUR answer is to it.. do YOU think its weird??
