Man what a stressful year. No job half the year. Ex girlfriend problems. Family problems. Legal problems. It all seems too much to handle for a young buck such as myself. What kind of help should I be looking for to resolve these issues? I try to take them one step at a time but everytime my hopes get up something else is affecting my way of thinking.

i met up with this guy i liked for 6 years a few months ago and we saw each other for 2 months and texted all the time he told me he was just out of a long term relationship and didn't want to get into another i feel his relationship ended badly. i told him i couldn't be with him as i feel i am going to end up hurt as i felt he had enough to contend without me adding to his problems as i want a relationsip with him i am mad about him. i pulled away to give him time as i didn't want to be his rebound or his fun while getting over his pass relationship he said his had enough of relationships, he went out with a girl for 8 years in the pass it also ended and i know he took this bad as thats when i first met him it always seems like the wrong timing, does it take time to get over a long relationship. am i doing the right thing i am mad about him should i text now and again or just leave him. please help

I've known this girl for about a month, we get on really well and there is definately the possibility of something happening between us.

It's her birthday very soon, is it too early for me to buy her a gift, something small like a CD. Or should I stick to a card?

I found out it June that my husband, we have been together for over 20 years and have children, was having an affair. Although deeply hurt to find out about the woman, I want to try and make it work. But, because of the affair we now have cash flow problems! With Christmas looming and unpaid bills piling up, this is giving me a pessimistic view on our future, I am back to square one again, like the night I found out, the pain is so raw, I am not eating My confidence is also at an all time low, I feel so worthless! What drove him to do it? Was it the sex? My looks? Me as a person? He promises he loves me, and will make up for all the wrong he has done and sounds sincere, but the trust has gone! Is there any hope for us!

I am 23 and an ad professional, who is looking for a break outside my home state. I am business graduate and network a lot. One of my contacts happens to be a young guy, who was a guest lecturer. In his class, my best friend and me often sat together and he used to often look at her and say " I lucky to have such pretty faces in my class".

I kept in touch with him for professional purposes even after graduation. Now this guy is flirting with me fulltime. The issue is he's 30+, married and has a kid. And im not used to this kind of attention. Is something wrong with him? How do i ask him to back off with out being rude?

Ok, heres my dilemma... me and my friend who i work with everyday always have some sort of bet going, he gave me 2 weeks to get laid and as a joke i asked him if he wanted to have sex, i got no answer, but i think he took it seriously, so how do i get out of it and still make myself look good and not look like i flaked out.

All my life i have had someone living with me, family friends etc. And never spent a night alone in a house. Then when i moved out of home and had to spend my first tiem alone cos my house mate was away i was stalked and he was never caught. Since then i have had 2 kids and up until 2 yrs ago i still got a friend to stay when hubby was away. Now if hes away its just me and the kids. I sleep restlessly, making sure everything is deadlocked. My mobile is next to my bed and so is my cordless. I aslo dont do too sleep until late. And keep waking up to everynoise. I hate to feel like this. Does anyone else feel this way.

i was sitting on the couch, holding my ex-bf in my arms, as in a hug. he has a gf, but i didn't feel it was wrong, bc we've been having this sort of rel.(hugging, holding hand, and calling eachother names lovers do) ever since we broke up last year.there wasn't anything phisical in it all,only warmth and we both felt safe when together.
but that day he started softly kissing my fingertips and then we wanted to kiss me. i rejectind him at first, pretending i didn't understand and gave him a friendly kiss, but he insisted and i finally gave in. after kissing him, i started crying bc of the guilt. and this situation repeated itself for a few hours, kissing, crying and talking.. the thing is he started wanting more (like putting his hand under my blouse and touch me) but i rejected him by taking his hand and kissing it. i wasn't feeling confortable nor safe, only guilty.
the next day i sent him a mail, saying that we need to clear things out. he said we can't be friends, he wants more.

Saying that he likes you as a friend. ok. I've got this story and it goes like this....J and me was text messaging each other suddenly we were talking about another guy named Y.
