I attended a strict Independent Fundamental Baptist school and church while growing up.

If any of you attended a Christian school, what was your experience like?
Do you wish that you would have gone to a different school?
If your school promoted colleges, which one(s) did they promote?
Did the rules and/or the school's way of thinking alter the way you think now as an adult?

Just looking to see if others have dealt with similar stuff like I did.

I asked a similar question and posted it on Religion/Spirituality section but I don't think as many people visit there as they do "Family/Relationships"! :)

And no, I am NOT bashing Christian schools. I even sent my daughter to one for two years, and had positive things to say about it. :) (at least that school was normal... wish I could say that about the school I attended! LOL)

My ex and I broke up 3 months ago...it has been a back and
forth rollercoaster for the past 3 months. I have finally gotten to
a place where I am not sad all the time. He thinks we can be friends, he calls me up and wants to chat like when we were together. I can't do it..how do I let him know that we just can't
be friends now. I am not going to be his "buddy". I have to take
care of myself, if we were going to chat like friends we would still be together. Isnt' it too soon to be "friends"?

What does it mean if there is a girl
One month or more ago you told her your feeling thru e-mail and she said she just wanted to be friends
and then now..
she becomes quieter towards you and talks less to you. She asks you less questions..

but still

she is kind and helpful towards you (that is her personality also)
and she keeps praising you for your intelligence, etc

and you feel that she looks at you more often

And you also do not talk much since you are a very shy guy

What does it mean?

Isn't it such a paradox?

This is a joke people... if you can't handle the humor, don't bother answering the question.

she goes on and on about it. Then she talks about the person she has done the good turn for. I shudder to think what she says about me. Also when I try to do her a good turn she does not want to know. I am confused and it is worrying me.

I think I would rather say goodbye than listen to her running other folk down.

How do you see it.

By the way she has done good turns for me and I will always be eternally grateful. But everything has to be done on her terms.

Are you interested in serious, honest long-term online relationship and then might think of meeting for real?

2006-12-04 00:05:08 · 16 answers · asked by Anonymous in Singles & Dating

ive been seeing this guy really casually, we have only kissed despite him wanting to take things sexually, a bit further. i think im giving him the wrongsignals if im honest. i do like him but i want him to ask me out on a date. im not sure if hes just after sex.

anyway, i have a date this week with another guy. this guy is OK but i really like this other guy. im too shy to ask him out but im not going to put my life on hold for this guy. thats why im still dating other guys.

should i tell this guy who i really like that im going on a date with a guy as a way of trying to get him to ask me out on a date sort of thing, or will it just make the guy that i like think that im not interested in him?
