Your ex doesn't get to call the shots. Men who leave and say that just want to be friends are balless wonders who think they are being "sensitive", and letting a girl down easy.
Tell him you don't need anymore friends, and to stay the hell out of your life.
He could not care less about your feelings.

he still like you. i have an ex and says that to me but guess what he finally admit that he still have feeling for me. it show that he do care for you if you another boy or not.

your ex has given you an extra chance and you declined his offer .
Go to him and tell him your sorry and you'll still like him to be in your life as a loving and trustworthy friend.

if you really mean what you say about not wanting to be his friend then why do you continue talking to him? i think you are sending mixed signals to him and maybe even to your self.
