Ok, heres my dilemma... me and my friend who i work with everyday always have some sort of bet going, he gave me 2 weeks to get laid and as a joke i asked him if he wanted to have sex, i got no answer, but i think he took it seriously, so how do i get out of it and still make myself look good and not look like i flaked out.

Drop a dollar on him and tell him you're paying up on that bet. Let him wonder "who" it was with.

Hm - I think you should say "Hey I'm sorry I made that inappropriate joke about us having sex. I embarrassed both of us." That gets you out of it, and makes it hard for him to say "But I took you seriously!".

you stuck your foot in your mouth in this one. i do hope that beings you said your friend is a guy that your a girl. because if your also a guy then i would say you stuck both your feet in your mouth. i really would not worry about saying that to him. just let it go, of course unless you do want to have sex with him?? so what do you get if you win the bet?
