was in love with me. I cut off my communication with him while I was married because it didn't seem appropriete but after my hubby left me homeless I needed family and he was the only fam I had. But because his wife still hates me, he could never tell her that we have been chatting. I don't like that he is not honest with her about the whole situation and we just had our second fight in 28 years. He was on Yahoo messenger from home and I said hi and he suddenly popped up saying, " is this ****??, I told you not to IM me. You need to respect my wishes." Then a couple seconds later I get an IM from him saying "*she* was standing right here and I panicked, chat later...". Wouldn't that make you angry? He just hurt my rep with her even more then it already was!!! If it was that she didn't like my looks I could deal with that, but his choice of words label me as some sort of stalker and adulterous boundary disrespecter. Should I walk away from a 28 year friendship or what? HELP!!

I am talking about my mother.
She became very restrictive when I was a Senior in high school. and didnt let me go out. Totally took away my social life.
When I tried to use the phone, she would ask me who I was calling.
She gave me curfews when I was in college.
She blocked the door from letting me go out when I was 20
When I was 23 she called up my boyfriends house telling him to send me home
When I was driving, she told me I must come right home.
When I was 20 she threw my things on the front lawn because she didnt want me to go out
She tells me that shes the only one that will love me as much as her.
She refused to let me have control over my finances in college.

My friend is a single divorced mum with 3 kids she is having a FWB relationship with an older man but this man is currently living with his girlfriend and has been for 3 years. She says she is in love with this man and would " die for him".

But wait there is another twist to the plot she is also having sex with a younger man (11 years younger, 25). I'm not sure about the relationship dynamics of this one as not sure if she is using the younger man to make up for not being able to have the other one.

There's nothing wrong with the passion levels, (au contraire mon frere) but because we're not married we've decided to wait. (I thought that was the pruning initially..) but no... Jo's got other things on his mind. Won't tell me what it is, but has told me he loves me more than life itself and cannot live without me. Except he says the pruning bit kinda sad, and will NOT tell me... "Will talk to you about it at a later stage my baby.." HUH??!!! ...

P.S. those who answered the question on would you feel safe or stalked - same guy ... and yes, I love him completely too.

What were some of the warning signs that you were falling out of love with your spouse/SO? Did you try to rekindle it?

I'm ready to take that plunge. I'm 37 and ready to make that life long commitment. This divorce thing is scary these days.

When I only knew my current boyfriend for 3 months he got me pregnant. I say 'HE' got me pregnant because he assured me he was careful and I told him I had just changed birth control methods. I know I know should've been using condoms anyway...but he pretty much guilted me into keeping our baby. She will be 2 next month and I love her dearly but I am extremely resentful towards my boyfriend. He literally jumps through hoops for me but I cannot get past the fact that my life as I knew it is over. I lost my dream job during my pregnancy, I've not been able to go back to school, I've given up the life that I enjoyed living the most and worst of all we're living togther which is against everything I've ever been taught morally. He wants to marry me but I just can't commit to him...I know I love him but I have so much resentment for him I'm not sure I (or he for that matter) can ever be happy with him.

But they continue to be mad at you any way. Their father was abusive and yet he can have a relationship with them, and there seems to be no expectations on him. Yet, when I have said something that makes them mad at me, it isn't okay for me to be upset, hurt or what ever because they are. My younger son hasn't talked to me for over a year now, he doesn't like my husband; my oldest daughter came to town but didn't call or come see me; my youngest daughter can get mad at me, and I'm suppose to sit back and be okay with it, with no reactions, esp. hurt or anger. When I try to say any thing about how their behavior has made me feel, I get "It isn't about you, Mom." Well who in the hell is it about then, if it isn't about all the "wrongs" I have committed when they were little, and now that they are grown!? It doesn't matter what I say, don't say, don't do, do, they are going to find something to be mad at me about. I would love to say it doesn't really bother me, and that I'm not upset.

I've been dating a single mom for several months and it has been great with her. Then all of a sudden after we slept together for the first time she is just straight ignoring me. I hold a degree in adminsitration my hubby didnt even go to high school. He is a carpenter i am head of Human reseource.i earned my degree when with him. our conversations are jsut based on discussing people we cant even hold a meangful conversation. He wont communicate well in English and he hates people who do.

We collide on many things, like my dressing, my going out, my shoes, how i spend my money, he is not loving, and am verr unhappy woman. i try to look beyond bhis education and look at him as a person.

am fed up and i wonna leave. cant live like this coz i pity him, coz i ahve to think of myself as well.

is it fair for me to leave him? i know he is gonna say am leaving him coz he is unemployed. i fee so messed up and feel like crying.

Should i continue.texting him and talking to him about life?
i know what he looks like, but im not really attracted to him, i just noticed a diffent spark on his face and his eyes that's why i texted him. turns out he was really fun to talk to, and because of him and me texting each other i did not commit suicide, i am happy and amused whenever he replies, he is a pot user, he habitually smokes marijuana but i dont mind that he is a great friend, he introduced me to bob marley and reggae even with ska and i terribly became happy
but now im seriously considering in stopping texting him, i dont have plans to let him see who i am, im not bad looking, but im very unusual and weird, i think things will change if he knows and sees me because im really a weird one, im afraid that if i let him see my face it could never be the same, im being selfish and all
but i have a terrible low self esteem,so im ending the friendship, its been almost a year, i feel bad about leaving all the friendship behind but then i know im not brave enough to face real people
