It is easy to say that you find new one but when you are broken heart, nobody seems attractive except the one who broke your heart. Of course love will happen again but not immediately, so to find someone else is not a fast cure.

If you see objectively, a broken heart is just an EGO problem. There is nothing in the person you were interested in which is not there in many others around you. So when somebody wants to go let him/her go cause you can't stop him/her anyways.

The fastest cure is to do something extravagant or indulging or exhausting like go to extreme places, do some extreme sport, take some tough assignment.

Be tough on yourself. Never think that he/she will be back. Be Angry and think that you will never take him/her back. And as they say: don't give it a damn!

Only fast cure is another love. It's fast, but I'm not sure it's a cure. When the heart is broken, there's no such thing as a quick fix. No spiritual quick glue... sorry. The lesson lies in the healing process... teaches us to be resilient, so that when true love comes knocking, we know it's okay to be a little sad, a little insecure, sometimes...

I was really surprised at the number of people who said yeah find a new guy that you can have sex with. If you have a broken heart then I am sure it is because you cared and loved him very deeply. It does take time to heal a broken heart. If you go out searching and grabbing just anyone to fill the hole then what are you doing to them> Nobody wants to be loved as a rebound. Take care of you...but go through your own heart process....

new love is the only cure for a broken heart. Find a new guy, forget about the old one, move along

Nothing can take away your hurt. You have to give it up. See the light and know that there is always greener grass on the other side. The journey in life is finding which hill to go over.

Dating someone else is like Tylenol. Its a "temporary" pain killer. You have to solve the problem behind it for it to stop hurting. To possibly solve the problem, be confident that there's other fish in the sea and you will find someone else who has lots of love to give and you will be happy in life despite a little speed bump.

Without pain and suffering, you can't truly appreciate the happiness in life. Good Luck.

for a fresh slate, i think TIME is as fast as it gets :) sure, a new love could also help to heal it but you might still have leftover emotions from a previous relationship that may prevent giving your new love a fair chance--so definitely time :)

nope! just go into hibernation for a couple of weeks and then as hard as it may seem, go out and find a rebound partner as quickly as possible. you dont have to be that into them, you just need some one to keep you distracted from your ex for a while.
